Princess Anne will not retire until King Charles either dies or abdicates. She is her mother’s daughter. But, more importantly, she was awarded “ The holder of the Gold Stick” at the coronation. This is the King’s chief bodyguard or “right hand man”. They may arrange for her husband, Tim to retire, but she will carry on. The same as Prince Philip. He eventually retired due to poor health, but Queen Elizabeth carried on. And Anne is a no-nonsense, stubborn figure, like her late father. Zara has been at her to slow down as well, but Princess Anne would be having none of it.

Anne has been so active all her life. This accident has caused her to slow down. Sometimes it is very hard for someone who's always been terribly busy, to do less. Sometimes when one involuntarily slows down it comes as a shock to be alone with one's thoughts.

The Palace said she sustained a minor injury and concussion while walking on her property. It was the medical team who suggested it could have been from a horse, but because Anne can't remember, they have no clue. Personally, I think it is long past time that Anne slowed down. She doesn't have to retire, but a big cutback is needed now more than ever, and the only way that will happen is if King Charles tells her it's either slow down or retire. She may need some tough loving from her big brother. ❤

It was well documented that when some people are forced to retire they die soon after. Some people need to work until the end. Luckily I seem to be one who is happy in retirement pottering round the garden or knitting! I dont miss work at all

Yes she will have help. It's all her travelling that she needs to cut back on.. They grow there own food ( their gardeners do ) eat their own organic lamb and beef.well looked after. The best that money can buy... Healthy lifestyle. Can't see her drinking to excess but you never know !

I am telling you, it is completely normal for people with animals to go out and do a final check before bed. She probably goes every evening, as is normal for animal breeders. You just make sure things are squared away. I don't think Princess Anne would lie. If she just feel, she would say she just fell.

Praying for Princess Royal to heal well! I believe she’s greatly missing her mother and father! Yes, she needs to cut back but her husband needs to respect that she is her mother’s child and is having difficulties with pulling back as much as her husband is asking!! It’s in her DNA 🧬 to work till the end vs retirement! I agree with the fact that she can’t sit still ! She cares about the subjects and wants them to have stability. She seems worried about KC not being able to do anything as well as QE2 because of family??? I may be wrong but I feel it weighs heavily on her heart to support KC!

Not all horses are stabled at night. Some are left in pastures. She could of went into the pasture to see the horses and a horse turned its head so fast and clipped Ann in the head. I have received a glancing blow from a horses head and it really hurt bad. I think my answer is as good as yours.

Princess Anne has had a concussion before, it happened when she representing Great Britain in the Olympics. She has also had so many knocks and bumps during her lifetime. I can remember seeing her taking part, in a three day eventing competition, her horse was jumping over a fence into water, something went wrong and she came flying off, over the horse’s head and landed with a very heavy bump into the water. She really loves her horses and has a special bond with them, I believe if it involved one of her horses, it was purely an accident. The horses could have been out in pasture for a little while, the weather has been hot and the days are long, it’s not getting dark until around 10:00pm. Maybe, she walked up to them where they were standing by the fence, anything could have happened but I will wait for the report to come out into what happened. We may never know if Princess Anne’s memory of what happened doesn’t come back. It’s very common for people, who have had some sort of trauma, for the brain to block it out, it doesn’t mean that it’s anything sinister going on. I can confidently say that Princess Anne, will not give up her love of her horses, or stop riding horses. We all just have to wait and see. Take Care Everyone 🦋🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🦋

Thank you Shanta,this second reading tells more about what you have been reading in the past about the Princess retiring. I don’t think she has the heart to retiring. She may come to an agreement with her family that she will cut down on work but possibly just doing a few engagements a year. She is so hardworking, possibly a workaholic. The late Queen always had Prince Philip by her side during her reign. He gave up his career to support her and kneeled before her after she was crowned Queen. She described him as her strength and stay. The King and Princess Ann have different marriages to their parents. In my opinion they are both trying too hard to be like the Queen and it’s taking a toll on both of them. I hope they both listen to the Universe and choose happiness. I’m sure they’ve made their parents proud. ❤

It makes you wonder how the late Queen Elizabeth and The Duke of Kent were able to keep up with duties for so long. I think Anne deserves to be happy. I love her family, Tim is great, so loyal and so humble. I was at Balmoral last week, it just seems so sad, the older generation have gone, it looked quite boarded up, and left to the public/commercial. It's nice, but I found it much smaller and less grand than you'd expect...💜💦🕊

Hi Shanta, so glad your little one is doing better.🥰 As I listened to this, it makes me wonder about how Queen Elizabeth II managed to I still such a sense of duty in her 2 eldest children. Neither she or her brother are content to be idle. Queen Camilla says Charles won’t listen, and he himself says he was ‘let out of his cage’. Both their spouses seem to want more quality time with them. It’s almost like neither of them can give themselves permission to enjoy their life without constant duty. Princess Anne has not let up since her mother’s death. King Charles returned to London and Princess Anne accompanied her mother home. Thought provoking for what these 2 Royals might be contending with🥰

I honestly think all this constant hype about the dastardly duo needs bringing to a close, the truth put out in the open and Harry & his family out of the line of succession. Anne and William have always been hardworking and loyal but with Charles it seems all about Harry and his mental problems. I would feel abandoned and unappreciated for the service I’m doing as that card came up. It may actually be different than we see behind close doors though, and he shows them they are appreciated. Her son Peter has a new girlfriend; and they were very very PDA at events lately, which even the MSM were posting a lot of pictures of. This apparently did not impress Princess Anne; as she is very regal and royal and did not approve, as you can well imagine. Perhaps that is what the argument that she was having was all about. I think that she will not totally retire until King Charles is no longer king as well, as other comments have said. The Princess is teetotal. A member of her staff said he was jealous of the Princess because she doesn’t drink, not even at things like State Banquets. She doesn’t drink because she has always needed to be up early in the mornings to tend to her horses. I think this was just an accident and we need to stop speculating and trying to read too much into it.
