thats what they want to do...i have questions and doubt it woudl work. I do NOT think there is room for two cinematic peter parkers and even if fans were ok sony would still have to make GOOD MOVIES which is at the core, the problem here

It wasn’t the over exuberance that hindered superhero films, it was just bad writing for many “including Sony’s” and critics just being biased towards many of the campy nature of the more deficient ones, like Quantumania or Shazam 1
