i had a conversation with someone that works with pixonic and they were very confident that the devs don’t want to make the game p2w. the developers that are working on frontiers are completely separate from the rest of pixonic, and they seem much more passionate about game development.

I just played Frontiers after a couple weeks, first time on the summer update, and man it is insanely beaultiful even on medium graphics. I never wanted so much for a game to be a success. I trust that the devs don't want to make it pay to win at all, but we will see what happens after launch. I think it can't be like the mobile version because the whole casino p2w mobile game structure doens't work on other platforms

Its depressing that its only up until this video was posted that people have been going "This game looks so cool! Hope it isnt P2W." Really shows how criminally underrated Frontiers is.. and yet calling it UNDERRATED is still an UNDERSTATEMENT. Edit: And just by seeing the amount of doubt people have in this game's prospects genuinely hurts me. 2 years of development, and Frontiers still remains better in every way than generic WR. Plus, I'm pretty sure the Dev Teams that work on Frontiers are almost entirely separate from Pixonic. Oh well though. Not sure if it would be worth it for new players so close to launch. They will reset all the stuff acquired in the beta to make it all fair but new players won’t have the experience playing it. This game is very intense. It has computer controlled Ai bots but they are pretty good. Human on human matches are heart pumping. Playing it will be free 2 play. I highly recommend people try it out if they got the PC to play it. The VR War Robots did not get the funding to continue but this did.

The game is so realistic like battle of titans only thing that is different is it the robot leg is dead you don't need it. But it makes you go slower depends on your chest and there is no robot customize parts but there is realistic guns and more I would like for you to try it out it's some good realistic but the owners left the game on dust if you like

This game is running on Unreal 5, so your phone will literally cook it's self by trying to run this, so I doubt they will port it to mobile any time soon, plus the controls are too complicated for a phone and PC players would just have an advantage over mobile players

I respectfully disagree, games you have to buy are premium games. free to play means you can play without paying anything. For instance war robots is free to play, (downoad and play for free) but it is pay to win (if you want any chance of making champions league or legends league you have to pay or else its impossible) Premium games you buy and should not have you pay more later on, wich is what this game is claiming to be. However the base game costs 14,99, then theres the steel pack 29,98 the titanium pack 59,97 and the platinum pack 99,96. looks pretty pay to win already... (ofcourse normal war robots has you paying by collecting your data and letting you watch ads and isnt technically free aswell but thats just how internet works unfortunately...)

I wish them good luck to WRF, right now they are lot of great titles coming out for the mech genre that are coming out to pc and consoles. And since it is made by pixonic it really does not matter if it is not p2w the reputations will follow. Withing this year and the next you will have games like Mech Warrior 5 clans, also have Mecha Break which introduces a very popular concepts of 6v6 pvp but also battle royale pvp pve and it is getting highly hyped by IGN. Then you have metal core which is better version of titanfall and then steel hunter. Plus we can forget Armored Core 6 has a huge audience already. So this game has a lot work to do.

There's no where near enough players. The vast majority of the time you just fight bots. Pixonic going to have to pay to run ads on TV, internet, radio, etc because they're not going to get many War Robots players to come to War Robots Frontiers after screwing people over so many times. Public release or not, w/o players it'll just be boring. Also, it's 2024 and there's no in game voice or text chat support which is just ridiculous for a PC game.
