We have seen reality car shows, but trust me; Car SOS is one of a kind. If it won't be tagged as an exaggeration, I would say Car SOS is the evergreen series of all car restoration since it is one of the longest TV shows that remain consistent with its episodes.
Car SOS is like other car reality shows, but it is mainly based on completing cars other car restorers cannot complete due to medical conditions or financial constraints. Cars from all parts of Europe and the United Kingdom are restored to perfection on the show.
While we wait patiently for the next season, let’s take a moment to appreciate engineer and radio personality Tim Shaw who has been presenting the show since it debuted in 2013. Wait! Did you just read 2013? Yes, Car SOS has been airing since 2013, spanning ten seasons, with its eleventh season starting soon.

Worked with Tim on the “Wrong show” on key 103. I was Squatter Steve. The man is a genius. He could sell sand to the Arabs. He has the ability to talk just about anyone into doing just about anything, whether they want to or not.

Lot of comments slagging Tim off, that’s harsh, a successful team & format, it’s a TV programme it’s conceived to entertain. And it’s pure delusion to suppose the basket cases wud be subject to a top standard of restoration with the time constraints in place not possible I’ve restored cars & it’s not achievable in 2 or 3 weeks

I prefer Fuzz's style but people tendo to forget this is a reality TV show, if it wasn't for Tim there was no Fuzz. Although I would like to see more about Fuzz's work the show needs Tim, he's a constant challenge and that's the perfect balance for the show to be successful. Thank you both

I use to love it but went of it with Tim's same old jokes trying to get what's ever needed for the cars, his wife sold his Lotus Esprit for 50p just under a dollar he got it back within a month or so but it cost him £7000 , the episode with the fiat 500 belongs to a chap who's car is from the same village as my brother lives in Netherton Wakefield West Yorkshire.

A friend had his car on the show, l wont say which but it was a more modern vehicle.. The build quality leaves a hell of a lot to be desired, very thin paint, shoddy engine work, badly restored interior.. My mate finally got his car back after 6mths, 2 engines later and after they had lost the car!!!! However they have done the majority of the work the car needed and will need about 5k to make it a minter so my mates happy enough now.

@@sultanoftippoo3857 it was neither a pile of rust nore is it now sub concours infact it could never be concours after the modifications they did to it. All l said was the workmanship and finish is far from what we are led to believe it is when they unveil the vehicle. My friend had to seek legal advice to get his car back which also added to the preasures he was already feeling due to the illness which was the reason they did the resto in the 1st place..

I thought the program was designed for families to take a vehicle that was never going to be put back on the road to give the owner some pleasure in driving it as they had suffered a major illness. Instead you seem to be suggesting it’s more about the car now restored not being worth as much as you anticipated? That aside, I hope your friend is OK and is at least enjoying driving the car.

Sadly soon all combustion cars and trucks including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Car washs will be forbidden too because they are climate killers, now they want to slow down all the gas station pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime. (BABVVEN & TEBBVEN & BEFVO laws)!!!!
