What REALLY Happens When You're Exposed to RADIATION?

I didn't have a lot of radiation all at once but I did get repeated exposure to a small area for cancer treatment. It did kill the cancer and damage to the skin in the area not complete death. Have been in remission for 8 years so everything has turned out well for me.

I work in IT in a call centre. I've had customers complain that their internet stopped working when they put their router into a Faraday bag they got from Amazon. Try explaining to them that the bag stops the WiFi from the router to their devices. "So what do I do now?" "Take the router out of the bag?" "But then the WiFi will kill me!" "Radiation from the sun is 100x more damaging to you than WiFi, so if you're worried about WiFi, I hope you've never been outside in your life. I've told you what you need to do to fix the issue, have a nice day"

In the military, we were taught to lay on the ground with our feet or heads towards the blast on top of our rifle so it wouldn't blow away. Maybe that was so our rifles could be recovered by whoever discovers our corpses.

There was a story about a telescope that kept getting hit with severe interference. It turned out that what caused it was the microwave because when people opened it before it was done a small amount of microwaves would fly out and mess with the extremely sensitive equipment.
