Heavenly father bless Aretha Franklin. She was my model in the world of performances. My first denute being challenge by other artist was singing behind a recorded record of her. The title if the song was. "You Make Me Feel Like a Natural Woman" and relieved a standing ovation. Location was in the Bronx of New York of the Jewish Community Center. I would think of my childhood sweetheart who was vague in my mind when I sing her song. Imagine if he was with me today, I guess I will be a smash hit with his love pondering over my head. It could be described as tragic. She lost her mother whom she had the strongest bond with of all the siblings. She gave birth at 12 then Again 2 yrs later. She suffered domestic violence, which led her to battle alcoholism. She had the worst luck in relationships. Her son was molested. She developed an unhealthy relationship with food which led to struggles with weight. As an adult she lost her father, and then both sisters AND her brother in a short span. She really did deal with a lot of unfortunate events.,
