What really matters is getting the prices of adult essentials down. Houses are sky high. Cars the same. A 200k house in SC is a low tier home that will probably fail FHA loan inspection. Houses sold for 76k in '97 are now selling for 275k in 2024. An increase of 3.6. wages havent increased like that since 97. Some have gone up 50%, others 100%. Thats still a gap of 100-200% compared to the house's inflation .
