Just a few reminders of what this bill actually would have done: - 75% of it was foreign aide to Ukraine, Taiwan, Israel, and Gaza - It would have written into law that up to 5,000 illegals per day (1.8M per year) would be allowed to cross the border - It gave DHS the power to fast track citizenship for illegal already in the country. - It funneled millions of dollars to left-wing non-profits that resettle illegals all over the country

Do you know why foreign aid was tied to a border security bill? Because the republicans asked for that. They said early on that they would not authorize any more funding for Ukraine without a border bill. Then when they got a border bill. Trump told the house not to pass it so they killed that part and funded Ukraine anyway. 5,000 illegals per day is not a amount that is let in. It is the amount border control can handle in a given day. If crossings passed that threshold it triggered emergency powers that the President can use in response. If crossings are under 5,000 the normal border patrol staffing level can process that many per day. I haven't researched your last two claims.
