Robert, Your rig is awesome! Nice walk around. I have the same return filter on Grampa's Jeep. Someone told me once that putting the return line to the top makes it less likely to push vapor to the carb, instead pushing the vapor to the return line and tank. Your's seems to be working fine as it is, but just something to keep in mind.

Nice rig! I also have a 46 2a... put the Brennan conversion on for the brakes, they work great. Also run the exact same tire setup.Frame off, Every nut and bolt touched but left the body in the patina.... I did modify my intake to fit the 2 barrel carter.... made a pretty good difference....

Love your jeep and what you’ve done with it. We think alike. There are enough restored units in the world. Not just here, but in countries all over the world. My thinking is that a jeep like yours, still doing yeoman’s duty are just as much a testament to one of the greatest tools of WWII, Korea, etc. Over time, I’m sure you’ll make improvements like floors, but at your own pace. I also like the rat rod style paint job you have. A coat of satin clear coat here and there might improve rust protection? No pretensions. Just a working masterpiece‼️😍🍀🍀 Ps I also like the tall but narrow tires. Those big tires create a lot of drag. There’s a reason Model T’s made good all-weather vehicles⁉️😁👍🏻
