An Irish Gun Club is a place where new shooters can not go and join or even speak with the gun club elites unless they where born 50metres down the road and are not a 'blow in'. They are full of snobs. *not all gun clubs.. I just haven't found a welcoming one where I live.* There is a Good one in kildare.. but thats hours from me. Local clubs in the county im in are very rude and exclusive.

I'm a UK blowin and have been in a great club in Cavan for a few years, there are a few local clubs too, we all get on and have shoots on each other's grounds. I know what you mean though, some places can be very cliquey and if your face don't fit, you ain't getting in.

Very informative for an imminent dual irish citizen. I spend all year looking forward to the 1 roost shoot I do in the UK - it's a very good one in Hartland forrest in north Devon and I try a different gun each time. Hopefully will do some more across the water ..

Awesome, pigeons offer some of the most enjoyable sport, in more ways than the challenging shooting..... The surroundings & the slightly more laid back feeling to it I think, for me... My ears pricked when I heard you were in Co Killkeny, my mother lives near Bagenalstown! Great show again mate👍

Good show tonight, Jason is really growing into the role. Quick question for Jason: do you think that your own performance was in anyway effected by helping Carly (apologies for the spelling) on the first couple of drives before you picked up the gun? From my own experience I have found it difficult to pick up my own concentration when introducing my own family into a day out. Hopefully, you'll get some warmer rain in July.
@jasondoyle60615 жыл бұрын
Colin Johnston thanks for your comment. Yes there were a couple of reasons for my dodgy shooting but the biggest one being I just shot like a twat that day! I hadn’t picked that particular gun up for a while which didn’t help and missing out on the earlier, easier drives wouldn’t have helped but some days I just don’t shoot well! The editor was very kind and cut the misses but we’ll put together a clip of my worst misses at the end of the series!!
@colinjohnston54655 жыл бұрын
@@jasondoyle6061 thanks for the reply. If there was someone filming me and we were publishing the misses, it could run on to quite a few episodes.

kranob1 I reckon they were 50-60 yards or so judging by the lead. You’d kill them with lighter cartridges but I just love those 36g black gold. Shooting is a lot to do with confidence and when you watch the likes of Dave Carrie killing stuff close to 100 yards with those shells it gives me great confidence in them.

Mika Partanen Strange insight into your inner mind that you believe the alternative to killing in cold blood with guns is playing with dolls? For your information I have around 50 guns but no dolls. Actually I enjoy shooting wildlife with cameras and targets with my guns. I’m sorry if you think it unusual to conduct my pastime having fun where nothing dies. Maybe we could cure the New Zealand mosque killer by introducing him to Barbie? It’s an interesting theory but not one I think I believe.

@@BATMAN777888 Pigeon breast is a quality meat and is on Michelin star restaurant menu's. The dogs are there to collect All quarry. I think you would prefer if the shooter's had a little cry after 😭 if you don't like game shooting, there are plenty on target/clay shooting videos on KZbin for you. Also having 50 guns, all for target practice... Seems like you are more similar to the New Zealand shooter than these guys 😅 I have a Beretta Silver Pigeon 3... That's it. You have 50 guns and play with Teddy bears! Who seems more likely to be a threat to society?

Pessimist Prime I’m not asking anyone to cry after they have killed. I’m not asking anything at all. Some people can kill and some can’t. Just so happens I can’t. If you feel the need to kill then that’s between you and your God. It’s not up to me to judge. Light and peace be with you.
