What’s Been Going On? I’m up to stuff…

So here’s what’s been going on…
The Redcat Ascent is getting a set of blue shocks and a new flashhobby 45kg servo.
The Axial Capra is getting new AGFRC 55kg servos front and rear, new Holmes hobby Revolver 540 V3 and Crawlmaster V3 ESC along with flysky GT5 receiver.
Custome crawler build, started with the SR Customs Drunken Redreck carbon fiber chassis kit. Axles are AR55p from Ali Express and if the Dlux Fab ever gets them back in stock, the Dravtech 96mm shocks.

Those cross members are nice if you move the bed right up against the cab you can use screws to hold on the cab in the back. That Capra you can do all kinds of upgrades mine went from almost stock to very modified. I also have the Flysky integrated with my Capra I’ve got a Fusion in it but the radio is a great match to the Capra you can use one of the knobs on top to control the rear steer & you can leave your rear wheels in any angle it’s awesome & easy to use. Once I set my Flysky I plugged the rear servo in it worked right away with no issues so you shouldn’t have any issues.

I’ve had the bed up by the cab but it fits really well with rock pirates shock towers where it’s at and easier to get to the cab body pins so that’s why it’s where it is. Good to know on flysky with the Capra 4ws! Thanks! I was hoping it would be as painless as possible setting up. Good info, thank you!

Those servos work great I have the 35kg on my Marlin. I'm very interested in those shocks the DL are some of my favorite shocks. Ascent looks killer Neo. Will be checking your LCG build closely considering doing a build myself. Thanks for sharing Rc brother

I might be asking you for some pointers on the lcg build lol but we’ll see how it goes. Those blue NHX shocks are a couple bucks cheaper than DL and are made identical to the DL for the exception of the internal o-rings. NHX has orange, DL has green. Doubt it makes any difference but we’ll see if they leak or anything over time. They are just as smooth as the DL though.

@@NEO-RC If you run those shocks down I don't figure they'll leak bro but ya hit me up, I'm thinking about trying to do some lives videos with some other channels as a collaboration if you might be interested just talking about crawler stuff in general on a weekend sometime if you'd be interested doing that?

The blue NHX shocks? Or the big bore shocks on the rear of the lcg build? The NHX are identical to Desert Lizards except for the internal o-rings color, otherwise identical and just as smooth and a tad bit cheaper. I’ve had really good luck with the desert lizards, never had any seals go out yet so I’m hoping the same on the NHX shocks. The big bore shocks are yeah racing who also makes the desert lizards. I may not use those on anything but my stampede but wanted to check them out. I really want to try the Dkux fab Dravtech shocks but the ones I want have been out of stock since 2023. They said they had an issue with the anodizing process but would get more in stock, that was 2 months ago and still out of stock lol
