Jimmy not wanting to interrupt Drew as she explained her fulfillment from her STEM foray, but knowing he needed to stay on time with the skit was really supportive & nice. Good job Drew for always growing and showing women can do more than design pillows ✊🏼

@Good Apple Women as a whole have not "always done more than that". We have lived in a patriarchal society for centuries in America where woman were systemically oppressed and most have had to pander to that patriarchy to survive. Are there exceptions to the rule? Of course, however, they were not the norm. Drew's metaphor could be "dated" by your standards referencing home decor design (it's not though, as home design is still accepted as a predominately feminine field), but her statement overall is referencing women being undervalued and objects of the male gaze that are only as useful as they are domestically & sexually valuable in that context. If you want to empower women, don't try to put down someone who is clearly trying to aid in the progression of women because you think their references are dated.
