A step in the right direction, ECOWAS, as an organisation, serves no purpose and must be dissolved. Instead of thinking of linking the subregion with a fast speed railway for ease of business across the sub-region, they chose to serve the interests of France that is looting the resources of its former colonies. Africa leaders are just good at going for annual regional meetings with no concrete vision for their citizens.

How about, rebuilding themselves, their infrastructure, their schools so they can have better education..., creating a life that does not relies on other as much as before, so no one can hold them hostage with food and water or electricity and other basic necessities... After almost an half of a century in a deal that brings you no returns except that of the laughing stock/mockery of the world, it would be wise to CONSIDER other deals.
