In West Africa, Burkina Faso's leader, Paul-Henri Damiba, has been ousted in a military coup. Captain Ibrahim Traore has taken over as interim leader
The soldiers behind the coup say they have dissolved the government and suspended the constitution. That's according to a statement read by an army army captain on state television. Earlier, explosions and heavy gunfire were reported near the presidential palace in the capital Wagadugu. Damiba's military junta seized power just nine months ago.

Sadly no, and seems like it for much of Africa. Africa has so many issues when i comes to politics has so many issues when it comes to even education. Unfortunately Africa is filled with countries with revolving doors. If countries claimed their territories again like France and actually helped instead of fully pulling out you would see stability.

What's behind the coup, in Burkina as in Mali, Guinea and elsewhere in Africa where such things seem to be endemic, is an under-developed political culture on the citizens' side ; armies and governments that are led by people who do not understand the value of legal-based political frameworks. As a result, corruption is far more reaching than even so-called experts are aware of, and this corruption like a sociological infection, undermines all attempts at nation-building. Nations have the elites, armies and leaders they deserve - these are people who come from the same culture as the ones they oppress and steal from. What are the real causes ? Low literacy, inequality for women, superstition ; archaic power structures right down to the family unit. It took Western nations millennia of strife to inch forward, and there's still a long way to go. These are rural cultures with only a very short experience for social organisation in cities and republics : Expect to see this sort of mess for well over a hundred more years. Things take time and people only change because a sufficient amount of them have no other choice : It's hard to learn from the past because each generation erases the lessons learned by their forebears ; only an big emphasis on literacy and education can help lessons to bridge across generations.

I Stand With Russia 🇷🇺 - First of all if you need put the blame on the western powers, France, UK and US for all of the troubles in africa. These countries colonised and have been stealing resources since they carved out pieces of africa from themselves. Yes african leaders are corrupt but if you are blind to these puppets who are supported by the western powers, and in doing so are allowed to enrich themselves as long as they approve shady contracts allowing private companies who mine the resources and export them back to Europe and US for their financial gain. France has 14 countries that have to have their reserves in a french bank up to 65% , in a currency printed by the French. how can these countries thrive and build a better country for themselves? like Dubai did with its oil?. These new leaders that are doing Coups are tired for colonialism. They want to rule the country by themselves without the west being always involved. Africa is the Richest continent but has never see the benefit from it because its stolen. The US which always tries to police the world but does the worst crimes to humanity on a daily basis but condemns this, so does France. People are so quick to forget what happend in Libya. They didnt want Gaddafi creating currency for a the whole of africa that could rival the Dollar and British pound , because they know Africa actually has the Gold and reserves to back up that currency if it ever was created. The Fall of the dollar is going to happen we just dont know when that will be

Lies. The USA defeated the Taliban and took over Kabul all in 3 weeks. And the USA came from 15000 kilometers away across oceans and several countries. The USA kept the Taliban on the run for 20 years. They decided to leave when it became obvious that the Afghans were not ready to fight for their freedom, dignity, progress and modern life.

The US and the West in general, makes mistakes driven by ideology ; but it OWNS its mistakes ; it LEARNS from them. What does YOUR country do ? It pulls the curtains and pretends its train is moving forward. There is no more abject slave than the one who willingly enslaves itself. Being a cynic and hypocrite seem to be the end-game in the Russian sphere of influence.
@francoislechanceux5818

Also when the USA left, it was the Afghan government that was in power in Kabul. So it was the Afghan government that replaced itself with the Taliban.
