Stating that their unions don't speak for their members is a daft thing to say. One could easily say the same about the last few unelected prime ministers.

Ridiculousness. It looks like everything is breaking down in the UK. Even more ridiculous is the state of the NHS. Not everybody can afford Haley street doctors.

Britain needs the war to continue desperately so that UK doesn't continue to implode. This is already the start of the implosion and its particularly concerning as its the middle classes now getting affected.

Exactly. They are too busy handing out taxpayers money to people who turn up in their thousands on a daily basis and in perpetuating wars in other countries to be able to help their own citizens

Teachers. Last time I heard about teachers with two jobs was when friends came home from holiday in Cuba. Most those teachers had left teaching to do the 2nd job FT.

The UK government can send billion of pound to support the Ukraine because the Americans are really in charge not the UK. The UK government can send billion of pound to support the Ukraine without consideration of UK citizens

Independent Pay Review bodies are told by Govt what funding is available to cover pay. Recommendations are based on that. The Govt is not bound my the IRBs. It's a distraction and a shift of blame. The Body recommended before the huge rise in the cost of living. The Tories mismanaged our economy and yet again the poorest suffer.

Maybe if they didn't have to fight for their job year after year and had long term security in teaching vocation then this situation may improve. Unions typically ask for pay increases but there are very many other conditional issues that could be addressed too. Granted this is based on anecdotal evidence. I'm not a teacher or union subscriber of any sort, obviously!

Unrelated to the video, someone needs to look at the audio channels for the video in the editing software cause the Left side is more boosted than the right so the sound doesn't come out balanced on headphones.

Teachers who are organized & efficient do not need to work long hours. Only the incompetent ones do.
@taraearnshaw3134
@taraearnshaw3134 Жыл бұрын
This is 100% incorrect. Some teachers carry other responsibilities within the school which creates loads of administrative work that has specific deadlines. Teacher's who go in and leave "on time" and can go down to the pub every evening, are usually the ones who have quietly quit or don't care, thus creating more work for someone else. Some Heads of Department do not even get paid for doing that duty. In short, I'd just advise you to tread carefully before referring to teachers as incompetent especially if you are an educator too.
