What's Brewed Here? It's The Home Of Carling! 🍻🍺🎥🕵️‍♂️👍

Today we take a look around Molson Coors Brewing Company, 178 Hawkins Ln, Burton-on-Trent DE14 1PX.
At first we wondered whether we was in the right place as we was searching for the Carling Brewery but after a little word with security we got some facts.
We then went over to the Visitors Centre but it was closed.
We then spot a few interesting things and have a little wonder around.

Quick answer to your question. Carling is a brand. The company used to be called Coors Brewers Limited then changed its name to Molson Coors Beverage Company. The red Coors sign on Hawkins Lane you went to is the old name. Great Audit and friendly staff, Great company to work for too.

You never got to the bottling plant just the canning line and the filler used to be the biggest filler in Europe. On the canning line they pile on 20 - 24 pallets direct off the trailor and onto the line all at the push of a button. Was a pain when they were changing the can or brew. But wash down sometimes meant an early knock off 🙂. I also used to collect the yeast from around the country and deliver that to the marmite factory. Agency driver back in the day.

Molson coors are huge they own many many brands. Many pubs are signed up with them. They finance alot of bar fit outs etc.. my business experience with them is they are a good company to work with and it shows in the staff all seem pleasant.

Coors is a brand from the colonies (United States). It is pronounced K ooo rs Until the Budweiser meltdown it was considered horrid by a large part of the US population while Coors fans thought the same of Bud. Coors has since picked up a large part of the Anhauser Bush lost sales.

I'm not exactly sure how they make beer but I do wonder if there's so many different brands covered on their website because it's all exactly the same stuff just with slightly different flavours or amounts of sugar in or whatever😂 I'd definitely have to have a look inside the museum of brewing!
