Thanks Paul for covering this. Being new to WP and Elementor I think that these are great updates. I know that they have had issues in the past and I'm glad to see them taking steps in the right direction. That sucks the highlights weren't working. I've always been jealous of other tools that highlight padding and margin on hover. Some even allow drag adjustment. That's most likely not what that feature even does but it reminds me of it. Great video Paul!

Hi Paul, thanks for the overview, however, the Loop Carousel came out in v3.11. There is a new Carousel widget as shown by Ashley in this video - kzbin.info/www/bejne/bnmaZKSAjMuqfMk which works a bit differently. They probably should give these two widgets more distinct names ;)

I find it weird that you compare Elementor to Generate Press. Elementor and Bricks are an Apple to Apple comparison, but Generate Press and Blocks are not in the same league as these two.

I didn’t compare it to GB/GP, I said they are the tools I use and wouldn’t rush to swap back to Elementor. 😉

@@WPTuts True to an extent, but to newbies it might sound as if GP/GB are an viable alternative to Elementor, which they are not. But I agree with the larger point you made, Elementor was left behind by Bricks and I reckon once one goes the Bricks route, there is no coming back to Elementor, and Bricks is only getting better by the day.
