Can those people get a real job? Would someone hire them? Very few places hire, "modern-primative," modified people. The hipsters are not altered. However, are they not the people that are offended by incredible amounts of things? I had a woman get mad at me for asking for white sugar. She went on and on about how racist I was. The stupid thing was she was not even white, nor am I. Why would she get offended by something she made up to be racist against white people when neither one of us is white? I think she was just starving for attention. A white man finally stopped her yelling and said, "I am white and there was nothing racist said! Shut up!" She did shut up but started slamming stuff around. Then her boss called her to the office. I hope she got fired. I never got my 50 pounds of white sugar.

There’s a man who drives past my building at least once a day with his music so loud I can FEEL IT. He always sits at the intersection to. Like he dosent sit and wait for a green light he “parks” (without actually turning anything off). It’s usually Spanish so I don’t understand the words but one time he was playing the song Astronaut in the Ocean and he kept rewinding the same like 10 seconds of the song for like 5 min.

About people wearing expensive clothes and accessories when they obviously can't afford it....they could be buying the stuff at a charity shop (i.e. Goodwill, etc.), consignment shop, or places that give away free clothing, etc. from donations. I know and know of many people who wear super nice, name brand, "expensive" clothes that they got from Goodwill and Salvation Army, and even exclusively shops those stores for name brands! Some of them can actually afford the full prices, lol. I have tons of designer stuff I got free from one of those 'free stores' in my area....Coach and LV bags, Jimmy Choo Shoes, Levi, Eddie Bauer, etc. Fyi, the 'free' place I'm talking about started in my area about 10-11 years ago in our local public high school....close to Christmas, as a response to our rural area having so many teen suicides and many kids who don't have good or much clothing, and the defining moment was a couple of brothers (whose older brother, a senior that year, committed suicide) saw a student that literally wore the same clothes everyday for weeks! They went home, gathered a backpack, and loaded it with clothes, shoes, socks, underwear, etc. that they no longer wanted, took it to the hs office and asked that the boy be called down and given this gift, anonamously! From what everyone knows, that boy could not contain his joy!! After that, the mother of two brothers and a few others brainstormed a way to help all of the kids/community with a "store" someone saw an article of, this being done in another school district. An unused room was used in our middle school, it was turned into a 'store' where kids came to 'shop' when they could....crap loads of donations of everything, clothing, coats, shoes, boots, money, etc. came in; a senior did his Eagle Scout project....making clothing racks for the store! Being near Christmas, a lot of inexpensive gifty type items were donated, and kids could come Christmas shop for their families! Sorry, that was long, but I wanted to explain the 'free store' thing, lol. It is still going strong, has it's own building. Open two days a week, someone built a shed to hold all the donations and it still isn't big enough!

I think when people "brag " about not reading u think it's really they are saying that they don't like to read books, which in fact for some people can be boring or they may not have the attention span to sit down and read a book. I myself prefer to watch a movie or a show of a book series because I like the visual.

I have a specific example for this. Over a decade ago, I got into a show called Legend of the Seeker. I loved it so much, I bought the dvd set. I found out it was based on a book series titled The Sword of Truth. I went to my local library to borrow the few books they had of the series. While LOTS was exciting and engaging, TSOF was boring and prattling. I kid you not, there was a part wherein it took the author three and a half pages to describe how wet and muddy Kahlan's dress was as she was running away from some captors. I had to stop reading. Goodkind was amazing in his descriptive writing in the sense that all of those details transferred perfectly into a tv series, unlike how other book to show adaptations are. But man oh man is it the reverse of the expectation about book to show adaptations 😅
