The buildings are still in fairly good shape. I will have my 11 years old boy with me, wonder if it is safe for us to swing by, it is kind of isolated, away from I-15.

It is owned by the California College System as a base for desert research. There are a parking areas and restrooms. and generally, there are University Researchers living out at the site.

It takes you about 10 minutes to drive back to the parking area, from there it is the equivalent of about two blocks to where the main hotel building is.
