Great video! Don’t feel bad about what you cook and how you feed your family. There are so many kids out there that don’t have the pleasure of eating at all, better yet, a home cooked meal every night! You are cooking what your family likes and enjoys and you are living life! You always give me ideas and inspiration and remind me of Home ☺️ love-from one Southern girl, to the next 💗

I have recently become a first time mom and moved out for the first time with my family. I really appreciate these videos that you make. And to me the type of meals you make is realistic and quick to make. You have given me so many ideas and the way you explain things gives me less anxiety in the kitchen. Thank you 🙏

Lord, people get upset about WHAT you prepare for your family? I come from a family where comfort food took center stage. Yes, my mom is southern lmao! Meal time was one of the only times where we didn't worry about how uncertain life was. We just ate and enjoyed what my mom prepared. We went to bed with a full tummy every night. Also, cooking healthy food most days in a week is a LUXURY. If you want extra healthy meals, then clearly a channel focused on tasty, affordable comfort foods ain't for you. You keep making your family happy, Kristin. My mom's food kept my turbulent childhood more enjoyable. Don't apologize for feeding your babies and your hubby. ❤️

Girl don’t feel bad for not making every meal “healthy”!!!! It’s your house. You cook what you want. Honestly, it’s nice to have somebody that puts out just good ole cooking. Almost everybody these days have nothing but extremely healthy foods (and that’s totally okay please don’t think I’m being hateful, I’m not by any means). Can I ask what your grocery budget is?? I watch a few ladies videos whose budgets just seems so low and for the life of me I cannot get mine anywhere near theirs. I dont know if I'm doing something wrong or if it's just unrealistic. You seem to cook regular, affordable meals similar to me so I'm just curious if you dont mind sharing.
@JennyOSunshine4 жыл бұрын
Same with me yet at least for the ladies I follow, I figured out that they also shop at Sam’s or Costco for the month so then their weekly spending seem smaller and cheaper. Plus some of them get food subscriptions that are paid for by referring others and receiving credits etc,...
@HeatherTerry844 жыл бұрын
A lot of it also depends on where you live. My husband and I lived in Texas for 10 years and it’s just the two of us. We would do grocery shopping every 2 weeks, and spend about $110-$125 and get enough meat/veggies for 12 days worth of cooking dinners at home (I also cook dinner in 4 portions because we have leftovers for lunch the next day every day) plus we had breakfast foods, dairy items, breads, beverages and snacks and I could sometimes even hit below budget. Ever since we moved to Arizona 2 years ago groceries here cost so much more, and I’m even still going to the same stores. Grocery budget has gone up quite a bit, and it sucks.
