**OUR MOST ASKED QUESTIONS ANSWERED**
Q: Does Steven ever not like anything? 😂
A: Of course!! First of all, we have been married for 19 years and I was not always good in the kitchen. In fact, I was a pretty terrible cook for the first 12 years or so. So there were plenty of times when neither of us liked what I made. But I've gotten better at picking out meals that I'm pretty sure we will enjoy. I don't just go pick a recipe and cook it. I read through it and research different variations before I deem it a good one to try.
Secondly, if we were to not like something I would NOT show it here. Solely because I want to share only recipes that we would recommend. I don't want to waste your time, or my time (editing) on a recipe we would never tell anyone else to try. We've only had that happen twice - and I got rid of the footage we had filmed (which was so sad because we took time to film it).
I hope that answers that question! Remember also that we only film 3 meals a week. The rest of the time we have our family favs or go out to dinner.
Q: Where did you get your chopping block/ cutting board?
A: Our friends gave it to us as a Christmas gift. :) They had a friend who made them, so it's not something that I can link to as it was handmade.
Q: You made a (insert recipe name here) one time, how do I find that video again?
A: Type in the KZbin search bar - "Mandy in the Making (recipe name)" and it should bring up the video where I made it. Click the video and then check that video's description box for the recipe. I tag all of my videos with the name of the recipes included so they are easily found. Hope this helps!

Hi Mandy, I just had to comment and let you know I made your green beans with the bacon and chicken stock. Hubs loves his green beans so I thought I would surprise him with yours. OMG...he absolutely loved it and made me laugh as he sounded just like your hubby when he ate them...Thanks that is a big hit and on our list of faves. I also got the grater for cheese. I have arthritis in my hands so hubs does all the grating and I think this will make it easier for me and now I can also make my own hash browns...love watching you and your family. In the UK your chicken recipe is called chicken supreme and coq au vin is a chicken casserole made with red wine. Both dishes are French. My mom made coq au vin all the time, when she left school she became a live in house keeper for a wealthy family and she was taught how to cook all the 'posh' meals 😀 Watching American cooking intrigues me 😉 xxxx

When we go to a fondue restaurant called The Melting Pot, we always get Coq Au Vin and it's definitely red wine based. I guess that's why the creator of this recipe specifically called it White Coq Au Vin. :) Thanks for watching Karen!

I made the taco bowl and it was great Mandy. I also made the cookie while watching you on the internet. My problem is it was not done in 23 minutes. I had to cook it 12 minutes longer and it didn't burn. When I first took it out of the oven the rawness was there and the edges where done. So I think maybe adding more time to the 325 degrees worked for me. It is a big cookie, lots of sweetness for the week. Love your recipes.

Another trick for the chili’s is to take them out of the can and freeze them in an ice cube tray! Just put one in each little cube and freeze it then pop them all out and put them In a freezer bag so you can just grab one when you need it 😊

I LOVE mushrooms, I feel like there’s never enough lol. So Cole will eat something made with cream of mushroom soup, but not finely chopped ones? Then again I guess the soup doesn’t really have much in there anyways and the pieces are so tiny. I look forward to your videos, they make me so happy and relaxed. Love shopping the freezer and pantry in these times! I've gone from weekly or twice weekly grocery shops to going once every 10 days max...and even then I tag this along with a day I'm out at work and need to come home and 'sanitise' anyway. I went to the shop for the first time since our lockdown began when I was out at work on Monday...I vlogged that day and it was so surreal and strange. A definite change in our times. It was amazing how polite and courteous everyone was being about the new social distancing measures though. We all need to pull together and fine peace, nourishment and relaxation in our homes. Take care from the UK!

that chicken gravy did sure look delicious do you ever slow roast gravies? can just set it all in the crock pot also the addition of bone broth and chicken broth adds much flavor. Also first saute onions etc if you decide to add more to and herbs etc have more flavor if they're roasted or sauteed first. Also add dairy even to roast beef gravy does something for it It's like with turkey gravy cook the tar out of the gizzards etc and SLOW roast and it is impeccable and has that golden, translucent color which mostly only grannies are good at making 🤣

I don't usually comment when I modify a recipe because it's really not the same recipe at that point, is it? But I'm making an exception. I made the Philly cheesesteak for supper tonight with only the essential ingredients unchanged. Peppers, onions, garlic, worcestershire and pepper sauces. Cheese changed to Monterey Jack, frozen leftover turkey cubes, no broth or cornstarch. Still delicious.

My family loves Philly cheesesteak sloppy joes!!! I found the recipe on Pinterest about a year ago. We also love Mississippi pot roast sloppy joes made with ground beef. You are the Best. My only problem is I can't have spicy foods or seeds or nuts or corn. I have diverticulitis and diverticulosis. But I cut seeds out take mine out before a I make theirs spicy. Still love your cooking. It's Fantastic

Great video, Mandy! You inspire me so much. I love your family. I just recently put out a video cooking from my pantry as well. I like the challenge of finding something yummy to make with things on hand. Social isolation has sure saved me a ton of money by not eating out and cooking more. Keep up the great content, I look forward to your videos !

Isn't it crazy how much things have changed since March 8th?! Here near Philadelphia, our last day of school was March 12th, and I'm not sure the kids will be going back at all this school year. P.S. Everything looks so delicious!
