I haven't watched yet, I watch all these at night before bed. Kristin, I just wanted you to know how much your videos mean to me. My days are super stressful at work. But I know at the end of my day I will go home and watch these wonderful little cooking videos. I binge watch, I have watched them all, several times, lol! My Gramma took care of us when we were real small, I used to watch her cook so much. She bought me my first play kitchen set. I'd cook Vienna sausages all the time🥰 Anyway... I wanted to catch a newer video to comment on in hopes you would see it. My Gramma was super special to me(and still is) And watching your videos brings me that comfort again. I just wanna tell you they are amazing! And I hope they continue for a long long time! And thank you so much for them all🥰 And all your hard work! You need a cooking show, THEY ARE THAT GOOD! Well off to work, so excited to get home and watch this one! Thank you Kristin❤️

Whenever you run out of your bouillon powder… my FAVORITE way to make broths at home is to use the brand “better than bouillon” it’s a paste you keep in your fridge then mix with water and they’re delicious! I don’t buy boxed/canned broth cause these are so much better!!

I usually just do the immersion blending right in the pot to gauge when it is a thick enough consistency. The blended amount just needed to be a bit more and it would have worked perfectly. Blending the ingredients not only adds thickness but it whips air into the soup giving it a silkier feeling on the tongue. My old home ec’s teacher taught us how to take an ordinary can of tomato soup with water and use a high speed blender for just a few moments right before service to make it taste creamier. She said it was science and using a tool a different way can yield exciting results. She even showed if we didn’t have sour cream to use drained cottage cheese blended to dub for a sour cream. She was awesome.

Hey Kristin! I love your videos. I was going to suggest a faster way to cut your veggies. If you slice the veggie in half long ways, then slice each half down the middle long ways again a few times, and then you can very quickly cut all the way down short ways and it goes so fast. I hope that makes sense. 🙈

I feel ya on the whole popping on the lid instead of dirtying a casserole dish 😂 my go to stronganoff-esque recipe is 1 lb ground beef/turkey/chicken seasoned how you like, 1 jar lays french onion dip, 2 cans cream of mushroom, add cooked egg noodles, top with fried onions (sour cream and onion chips work great too). I pop on the lid just to warm everything through. Found it on pinterest and now make it once a month, soo easy!

The chicken tostadas look amazing, going to try it! I always brown my pepperoni too, even when I add it to my sauce when I make it. It makes a huge difference! That fresh corn also makes an awesome summer salad, mixed with a can of rinsed black beans, a diced small red bell pepper with a homemade fresh lemon or lime vinaigrette. 🙂 I love fresh raw corn, it's sweet and crunchy.

Kristin, those BBQ sandwiches look great! I'm definitely going to have to try that recipe! Everyone in my house loves mine as well! My go to recipe is a 3lb roast, 12 oz can of coca cola, 1 bottle of chili sauce, and 1 envelope of the lipton beefy onion mix. I mix everything and then pour on top of the roast and let it cook. So I guess adding the chili powder in yours isn't too far fetched!
