Problem is the dealers already live under threat of death by the suppliers, cartel etc. America has failed to stem the flow of Fentanyl through our borders. Most of it is coming in through a completely uncontrolled Southern border and while there is demand, the motivation (even at the threat of death) continues to be high. Until we acknowledge that it's not only people coming in through our Southern border, this issue will continue to escalate. Coming to a city near all of us soon.

Alcohol is a social issue for sure but it has not caused this level of carnage on the streets. What people might not realize is that Kensington is only the beginning. With no intervention, this will continue to grow. Unfettered and therefore inexpensive supply lies at the root. Cartels have already said their profits are decreasing because of the ease with which they get drugs into the USA now. The harder it is, the more the value grows as it crosses the border.

If you get rid of the dealers you get rid of the addicts. But it’s a lot more complicated then that. I have been around and seen a lot. The work that goes into this. The people the sell make great money. Most of which they have groups of people for which distribution they will make and hit. Then the cut the funds and give it to the seller. Then the dealer then goes out and distributes it. If a bad batch goes out then the dealer is the one that gets f’ d not the seller. So what I have seen you got dirty people cops some times or undercover sell it to the dealers they make a trade if the dealer doesn’t pay up or some hit goes wrong they are after their butt. But because the under cover or what not knew the dealer out smarted them and ran for safety. In Philly norristown everywhere they have this. In norristown if they know you are homeless people are not afraid to tell you every little thing about the industry. It’s literally a job. A deadly one but a job for money. They don’t care if people are dying it’s money that it.
