But that was Kievskaya Rus and in XII venture Ukraine was mentioned as territory in the North-West of modern territory and the word Ukraine is coming from the Russian word “Okraina” which is the suburb of a certain region. Kievskaya Rus was foremother of Russia. And the Ukrainian language appeared after some lands were annexed by the neighbouring Lithuania and Poland and the local languages were well mixed. Even that time it was not Ukraine. And the last - Yes, I’ve spent there many time
