I could see an announcement after Tomb Raider LAU remastered gets announced. Oh and the new game was technically announced January 2021 when they confirmed they envisioned a new game after the core design and legend Crystal trilogy games. So this would mean the new game would be after the events of Tomb Raider Underworld Which means they definitely want to get the LAU trilogy remastered collection out before the 30th anniversary and before new game trailer

If it goes past October 2026 (the first game came out in October 1996), then I would be getting very worried about it not coming out. TR1-3 remaster was Feb 2024 (I need to add that to my top list of games for this year) and 4-6 remaster is Feb 2025. Wonder if a Feb 2026 is earmarked. At this moment I just want to see something confirming the game is progressing, don't need a release date yet if it's not early 2025

I just want the remasters of the superior games from Core, preferably with an announcement of more games 'classic style' from Aspyr. Crystal Dynamics never had a single clue about what to do with the franchise and what made the original games stand out - they can wait until 2032, for all I care.

Tomb Raider 1-3 remastered came out earlier this year, and 4-6 remastered comes out in February, they are the Core Design games (apart from the Gameboy releases)

I'm looking forward to the new Tomb Raider game if it is a sequel to the Crystal Dynamic games. I honestly wasn't a huge Lara Croft fan when the originals dropped. I refuse to buy more remasters. The '90s are gone, the early to '00s are gone. I'm kind of getting tired of being sold nostalgia.
