This topic is one where more information is really useful, as many people have vague feelings of worry and uncertainty about the future. Great video on an important subject!

The water is a really fine spot to relax and unwind . The geology is spectacular as far a a pull out place few places on earth are this nice worldwide. I'd expect in the future this location is going to play a huge part of this areas future.

Thank you Macrea and Broc for an informative deep-dive piece. As a civil engineer with 30-years of experience in municipal water/wastewater/reuse design, I assert this interview balances the challenges of growth and water supply, while emphasizing the need for enhanced conservation/reuse programs. Well-done to the benefit of the entire southern Utah community, and the Colorado River Basin States overall.

I was impressed by the visuals too, like the way you show examples to illustrate what you're discussing.

Just so you know if we keep building and building and building and building, we are going to run out of water we live in a desert. We don’t live in Lake Michigan. Great video. I got to give you that though keep up the good work. I love your videos.

Great video. I think there needs to be a lot more emphasis on conservation. We have one of the highest water use rates in the country at between 250-300 gallons per day per capita which makes no sense in the desert. The glut of water usage has got to be reigned in

Great video and break down. This is a topic that is VERY misunderstood by 99% of the public, so it's good to get this in depth information

Hey what's going on with the property off of River Road across the street from Mr D's gas station? It's that little hill with the three houses on it. It use to look like a junkyard.

So how many years supply is actually maintained, doesn't seem like that question was ever really answered?

Why don’t states cap the allowed population related to resources?

This was a very good interview, but my take away is not the same as yours. We need to slow growth, limit golf courses, and increase the cost of water to reflect it's true cost. Water has been artificially cheap, subsidized by our tax dollars.

Totally understandable! I do agree to an extent. I'm not calling for massive growth (what we've seen the last couple years isn't sustainable anyway), I just dont want to see a stoppage on growth. Also agree on the cost of water rising as well and that is in the plans it sounds like. Appreciate your take thanks for commenting!

Best to have tiers of usage where basic amount is cheaper, beyond that more extravagant usage is billed at higher rate. That way minimum necessary water usage isn't impoverishing people.
