Hey Chris I’m learning more and more from your videos about Naga City. The next time I’m there I won’t be as unprepared. Keep up the good work👍

I have heard on the news here that everything is going to change. And a list of trusted countries outside the EU is going to be made. Meaning that passports will be electronically scanned at both countries. People from these countries will be able to take long holidays whenever they want. I have written to the Home Secretary to ask if the Philippines will be on this list.

I brought my now wife over from the Philippines and it cost me about $3500 dollars. Not counting the money that I spent in traveling to the Philippines three times to make our case stronger.

I used to buy my electrical/electronic tools and parts in Raon st./Evangelista st. in Quiapo Manila. They have a lot of stores and shops there and you could find what you want in there. I recommend Deeco electronic store, if they're still around because they have a lot of stuff when I was still in the Philippines in the 1970's true 1980's and when I'm still studying during the martial law years. It's just a bus ride away from where you are .

You have to go to the big hardware stores to find that tool, I doubt you will find it in those local shops.

If it’s harder to get into the UK than it is America, that’s gotta really suck. I heard not to long ago, that it is taking longer than 7 years to get into the United States with all of the proper documentation and $$$$$$$ !!! Lots of $$$$$$$ too.

I agree with you, the convenience in the western world is so much lacking in the Philippines . Love the convenience here in the USA, you can find practically anything you want to buy easily. Thanks, enjoyed your video.

I’m sorry to say this but is always about money if anyone applying there visa the embassy is always put you into a so stressful life. Need a more money to show off to them so will successful your visa. Mine is done 20 years ago we have a lots of letters and pictures to show and telephone bills that he call me a lot and we have communication that time no computers just long distance call. Plus his money in his account to show. Nothing easy I’m afraid.

Rental income counts towards your earnings for the UK spouse visa aswell. Savings aswell, if you've got over 62,500 pounds in savings then you don't need any income.

On top of my comments the embassy let you to apply and submit all the documents they need and on top of that the visa fee. my son too I apply for his visa called joint to parent and indefinitely to remain and I pay his visa fee £810 that was 2010 or 2011 anyway once you pay there visa fee they can refuse the applicant easy and your money is non-refundable. Which so annoying because they didn’t understand how hard you work in abroad to get that money. Well that’s the thing always about money... 😩

Guess you have to really think things thru before you get married, and even more when you want to bring them home. I was still active duty when I married my wife, things were easier back then, she got her visa, then green card, a few years later her American citizenship, then dual citizen ship.

That girl at 11:40 got a mean looking stare. It was not that hard to bring a wife to the U.S. Then all hell broke loose after a very, very old British man married a very, very young Thai woman and brought her to the UK. He had lots of money and was part of the upper class. Immediately she wanted money to send home due to different types of "emergencies." Because of her the British government changed the laws and made it very hard to bring in a spouse.

Have Neil invite his girlfriend to UK as a visitor, she will probably have to show income to give reason to return to Philippines. Once in UK they can become engaged and to then process the paperwork with the embassy. She will have to return to Philippines and when she re-enters she can do so under a Fiancée Visa for 12 months. Only issue is that the embassy will expect you to marry in that time. Once married iirc there’s a probation period. I think it cost my wife and I £600 to process everything, and that was more towards the Philippine Embassy.

Message to all here,, lets not judge anyone,,,,,, Everyone has the right to live the life they choose. Doesnt matter if your rich, middle, or poor, guess what, everyone dies.......... so live it up to the best of your desire, no matter the financial status. Surely, we live in a world where money is necessary but money is not everything in life. If that was the case, then all these RICH PEOPLE in the USA would not be killing themselves or even use drugs and then die too........... so more power to you Chris, live the life you desire with whom you want to be with. And i been to phils so i know.... its not for everyone but i admire anyone who takes any leap of faith in life in which is different to the one they grew up in . Risk is part of life if you dont take any then you will always be where you are and who you are. Which thats not bad either, its a personal choice. Peace, nothing malicious is intended,,,,,,

Hi Chris, regarding your mate wanting to bring his girlfriend to uk, if you have plenty of cash and I am being serious that’s fine, otherwise forget it. That’s the sad truth. It counts for nothing if you’re a true tax paying Brit. Even if you have children by a foreign woman the U.K. government doesn’t want to know. But if you’re rich great come on in. Fortunately I been through it and many thousands of pounds sterling later I’m happier married in uk. Stay in the Philippines if you can afford to.
