It was my first propper yugioh deck and i will always remember it fondly. And currently is the only reason I can play in plat 1 with my masochist deck. Truly one of the GOATs that are to be remembered even after falling out of the meta.

The fact Raika is now on the way really shows how famous this deck and it's play style will forever be! I hope we get even more "Tri-brigade" like decks for things others like Cyberse,Thunder, and Psychic or Aqua, Fish and sea serpent!

Im about to test out a voiceless voice tribrigade build lmao ill be back in a couple days amd let you know how it went
@chaptermasterd93625 ай бұрын
@zoroarkon its janky but it can work here and there, voiceless mannadium, or voiceless kashtira is definitely better
@zoroarkon5 ай бұрын
@chaptermasterd9362 Voiceless tri-brigade? What sort of synergy is there? I dont see it i'm afraid, unless you mean is as a 1-2 card combo that makes a few links turn 1 independant of voiceless voice. It can probably make a few interrupts if used that way i guess?

It's so funny that Tri Zoo was one of the best decks in MD on release, with so many other degenerate decks running around. Just being able to set up Drident, Apo and Revolt consistently with a hand trap or two was good enough to be a top tier strategy in the midst of StunLich, VFD and Herald turbo. God I do not miss those times lmao

The first time i discovered Tri Brigade, i loved the concept and art on the cards and never stopped using it since then. Tried almost all, pure, birds, zoodiac, spright, but the one i love using the most is Branded Tri-Brigade.

I have been playing Oja-Brigade basically since the tri-brigades released. The best part of that deck is that it is the perfect fusion of every deck you've mentioned in the video. You have Ojas that can spam themselves out through a ojama red summon (although this is usually a turn 2 set-up, especially if you draw Ojama Pajama which, for some reason is a ddr and/or a OPT search and discard off of a continuous trap) or a summon of rescue cat, rescue rabbit, or rescue hedgehog, all of which allow you to link into a link-2 (if rescue cat, you usually go ferrijit using an Ojama Pink and Kitt, if either rabbit or hedgehog sprind dump kitt) or a rank 2 (usually melffy of the forest so that you can search out melffy hide-and-go-seek but I also include sandayu just to make sure that I can beat through threats). I have thought this the entire time however, other than formats were shifter is widely played, there are going to be tri brigade variance that can compete with the meta, it would just take some serious lab time to figure out the build. Also one last note, fraktal has been the weakest link in the main deck, just because they can be searched off of tenki does not make them good. The only real purpose they have in that deck is that they are Ash bait.

@@PurrlyYGO To make it worse, I just read the first line of Kerrass and didn't find out until like 20 duels in that tri-brigades had the banish effect. I literally used the link spam deck as a tool in an XYZ spam deck

I kinda figured the answer was just "lol tear and Kash came out" but I'm glad this confirmed what I though. I really like and still try to play lyrilusc but for some reason I never liked the Tri-brigade variant of it.

Im going from control to aggro combo for the first time in nearly a decade. I like the artwork on Tri-Brigade as well as it meshes very well with other BBW archtypes and lvl 2s. Definitely a budget birthday deck that has lots of creativity. Now gotta figure a build within $200 bucks irl. Going from Guru Control to Tri-Brigade is very different for me
@PurrlyYGO8 ай бұрын
This is a fun perfect start to combo! Simple lines that can expand if needed based on other archetypes mixed in and overall still a hint of control

@PurrlyYGO why thank you so much. I've seen the adventure package splashed in as well too. It's very cheap and shiny to do too

Next one should be what happened to Dragon Link (we got sand blasted to oblivion via the banlist 24/7 until we lost most of the good cards).

What iblove about Tri-Brigade is that all it takes is another tri beast engine to significantly put it back into the meta again. I was hoping Fire King did more, but it feels really fragile.
@Vendetta162X9 ай бұрын
You can slip the FK engine into Lyrilusc Tri-brigade. The Lyrilusc engine it's insane solely because Ponix is a level 1 birb.

Thank you for the very easy to understand and informative video! Back when I first tried Yugioh in 2021 it was in Master Duel, this deck was the first one I made, and learning it was very confusing but satisfying in the end, I want to ask, with Horus in the shop, how is the synergy when combined with Tri-brigade? I've seen some people's opinions on KZbin videos I found, but I would like to know your opinion, thanks again for the video
@PurrlyYGO8 ай бұрын
Thanks for commenting! Personally I feel Horus isn't the right engine to mix with Tri-brigade, you want a more material spammy deck that can help plus or extend using them, like Fire king or Spright!

I had a base I played in my Fur hire (my pet deck btw), tried in Melffy which was pretty good combinaison (I precise I play most Melffy in this version it was more Melffy feat Tri brigade), before being forgotten untiil the Fire king deck release, it's now a nice addition to this strategie
@stealthninja99009 ай бұрын
Not gonna lie I think tri- fur hire is underrated you can make really good endboards that can beat snake eyes (although 2 interruptions make you sad)
@MegaSaSoRi1016 ай бұрын
The link 5 killed the deck and mad it mandatory to have Tri- bri spells and traps in the graveyard. The deck I played it with Fire Fist, fur hire, then Tri - fur hire with sprights. The deck runs well with fur hire.

Unpopular opinion: These cards were never good, they were just the easiest thing you could play at the moment so they had a huge representation. At that point they were also the easiest way to make Apollousa/Accessode and had easy access to high impact cards like Imperial Order/Nibiru/Gamma/Talents. The sets releasing back then didnt import anything relevant to the meta so the deck stayed for a while before actual good cards were released
