I use Flitz Polish On my 76 T-Top, tire trim rings, center hubcaps and works great on plastic I use it on my original rear tail lights sold at Ace Hardware a small tube goes a long way 👍

It's looking good. I'd like to suggest changing the plastic bushings in the corner moldings. New ones should not cost much and they would look much nicer than those aged yellow ones. New screws for the t-top bar would also look nice. I replaced my screws because they were slightly chewed up, but the new ones seems to rust really easily. I've been thinking of sending the screws off to get them chromed, but I don't know if anyone will do such small parts. Keep making videos. I have watched all of them since I found your channel a few months ago.

Yeah. Used it many years ago. Got a few sample packets at a motorcycle industry show along with microfiber towels (I still have a couple of them). Good stuff. Will get some one of these days. Thank you for watching! 😊👍🏻

Great job! Looks great! I've always used Never dull cotton wading polish on mine. I wish they hadn't quit using the chrome at the rear of the T-tops, my 73 had it but my 76 didn't apparently 75 was the last year for it. I'm guessing they quit using it to stop leaks or maybe just to save production cost. I've always thought they look less finished without it but that's just the way they were from 76 to 82.👍

1000 grit sandpaper wet sand and then go to 1500 grit sandpaper wet sand then go to the green jewelers polish on a soft cone cloth spin on your hand drill for final polish; all scratches removed and will look like chrome... the kits can be bought online. Anything is repairable with stainless steel...

Looks nice Luis, I have used wet Brillo Pads lightly on pitted chrome bumpers and wheels before, seems to work well then polish.

this is the only spots on my 73 that look bad. And I wont even take the tops off lol.... would like to replace them but there are two screws under the front trim that are behind the top of the windshield that have to be removed to put in new chrome corners. BUT the windshield has to come out. And I'm not ready to take on that beast. UGH!!!

Yes, those end pieces usually deteriorate to the point of no return. I’m surprised no one has come up with a thin stainless cover to help hide all the pitting and rust. Maybe there’s no room for such thing 🤷🏻‍♂️
