Easily the way I try to make the mate feel good. I always try to go for their passes because if I don’t they‘ll spam „take the shot!“. They like it better to get scored on than their mates being smart and waiting for the enemy touch when they can‘t beat…
@RealKanii_Ай бұрын
In other words I overcommit the living f out of my games just so my mate doesn’t leave immediately. I acknowledge the mistake when playing but I can’t really do anything else because 1v2ing 4:30 against being 0:1 is just an easy choice…

Yeah its shocking, in the upcoming episodes the amount of FF attempts is actually unbelievable, in all games we won I think the TM tried to FF, scary

These two last games were rough, it reminded me of so many others I've been through. Usually goes like this: I play with a friend the last daily tournament (in 3s) and we have a random fill in, Random teammate literally flip above me to steal the ball I'm pushing. Ball ends up with the opponents, last man finishes in a 1v2 at best. We get scored. Flying ball thief becomes toxic, does the same thing again but with my friend. we get scored again. Flying Ball Thief votes forfeit at 0 - 2 with 4 minutes left. Throws a tantrum when we don't follow his vote. Almost got PTSD from typing this. Take care man, you're doing great.

Yeah I had no idea how bad it had gotten as I barely solo queued last season, but man, its really going down hill in solo queue. Really hope it picks up for you and thank you for the support! :)

I swear RL has some kind of RNG that guarantees that you get the same teammate, play against the same people, and open the same item you just got from another Drop. It's insanity

Hey! They are on the first episode in this series at the start, you will just have to time your pause, but I have like 0.12 dead zone, 1.20 sense. 48 dodge deadzone I think :)

would you consider switching the 1v2 series with preceps into a 2v2 until ssl with him starting at 1430, its just you do a lot to cover up until gc which is great but you dont really cover after that unless its pro, still love the content no matter what just my opinion

WARNING -- WALL OF TEXT AHEAD -- First, I like what you're saying about trying to 1v2 offense. It's obvious you never want to leave your teammate in a 1v2 on defense, but for some reason to me it's less obvious that you shouldn't 1v2 offense either. I'm guilty of setting up a wonderful play, getting a really powerful hook shot/bounce dribble off the backboard, and then conceding on the counterattack because my teammate wasn't ready to follow up my play. The way I phrase it sounds like it's my teammate's fault, but if I assessed the pitch better I would recognize that my teammate does not have enough boost/ is not close enough to support my play, and essentially I am just passing the ball to the opponent's. I have a comment on outside shadowing. Usually, when I see higher level players (one in particular being M0nkey M00n) outside shadow, they do it so their teammate either rotates behind and then the shadowing player can turn and instantly challenge any free ball, or they transition to an in line shadow, hiding behind the ball, and thus forcing a play from the opponent. Then the shadowing player either crosses into the inside and saves the ball, or continues faking, or 'snaking' as you like to call it. I have heard numerous times from people to constantly have your nose, your momentum, facing towards the play. If you do this during an outside shadow, then you end up covering the midfield. If you face the play during an inside shadow, you end up covering the side wall. So, if you treat "Always keep your nose facing the play" as a rule, then outside shadowing seems better. Maybe in certain contexts I agree with this rule, but as a general guideline I find it dubious at best. But to some people having momentum always facing the play IS one of their fundamental rules. Whether they know it or not, the structure for their decision making is based on these fundamentals, and the people find success with it, so they don't rethink their approach. That's why I'm glad series like yours exist. I don't agree with everything you say, but you have definitely made me rethink how I should consider the game. I don't think I will ever hit grand champion(I will practice mechanics for maybe 10 minutes max per day and look at replays for over 30 minutes per day), but your way of playing the game and the fundamentals you have extracted from your analysis definitely make the game feel fresh, even after 8 years of playing it.
@NeriveanАй бұрын
I think the thing is with all these methods is that high rank players know the outcome of the play and know how to continue the play, but often times the random teammate doesn't, so they get tilted because they just want you to go for the ball. And sometimes if you think about it, it's just that "go for the ball" leave the opp behind and hopefully score if not then stall get boost and try again. I've seen a lot of pros saying this all the time like squishy, scrubkilla, etc
@AirChargedGamingАй бұрын
Really appreciate that read and support. Thanks for taking the time to write that. I would agree that if you attack correctly on your own so that you are able to get back and support then its fine, or if you have a smart 2nd man that will stall out the game you can take more risks. The issue is now that there is no structure so it becomes a full dive with nothing created in most ranks. I love what you said about the shadowing having your nose facing the play. The same is true with an inside challenge, but you just side inside the position as opposed to outside. If you can square up and side flip do it, but if its too far you do still face towards your net, hopefully that clears it up a bit :)

What I've noticed is that many people who are playing RL are like spoiled little children wanting mirrors as teammates and when you don't play/do exactly what they would have done, they get mad and throw the match

Solo queue now is the worst its been, I thought C2 was bad, but C3 is actually unbelievable the amount of throwers and people to try and FF straight away is bonkers.
