I have been flamed after posting a comment on a KZbin video that I think "audiophiles" are people who seem to listen to the performance of their equipment that the recording allows them to do, rather than listening to their music. It's refreshing to hear from someone who seems to hold a similar view.

I think “audiophiles” come in many flavors, but semantics aside, without the music all this gear would be pretty useless.

OMG!! ... Have I "discovered" by mistake , music/higher end gear channel I can follow? Enjoy as entertainmental reading, & hold to my personal acquisition of gear, on my own terms!!??? Like in the old days, "70's to mid '90's!! (Prior to my burnout!) I'll check this & resistor mag & subscribe. Forgo, these youngin', pretenders!! (Barf, barf)....
