I stumbled upon your video because I would love to use this Demellier bag as my airplane bag too on my upcoming trip. Did you have any issues traveling with it? The dimensions are larger than what is approved as a personal item bag on most airlines. Since the straps stay in place and can't lie flat and the bag is wider at the top I wonder if that's an issue?

Hi! I'm not sure about other airlines, but I flew Cathay Pacific with this bag as my personal items and had no issues! The straps can fold down and the bag fit nicely underneath the seat for me. But definitely check with your airline to make sure 🙏
