Just a suggestion here: Please think about getting a pouch of some sort for your computer’s power cord. Like a medium-size cosmetic bag. Speaking from experience, it will prolong the cord's life. (I spent too much $$$ getting replacements.) And it will be easier to get the pouch out of your backpack when you need the cord.

Wow that's a lot of stuff to carry around every day. I know it can be complicated when you're not allowed to take notes on your laptop (we have the same rule in my uni), so I just carry around a bloc of white papers that I can write on for different lectures and when I'm home I simply hole punch them and put them in different folders. It's much easier than having different notebooks for each subject

When you color code your notes, what does each color represent for you? I want to start color coding but idk how I should approach it

I can't color code like she does but when I was in high school I had a color for each subject (purple for history, red for math, blue for English...) But now in college I have black for classes, blue for study sessions, red for personal and a yellow highlight for tests/important due dates. Since I don't have time.. But testing each style for a week or two helps to find ur style!

As a senior in college I have to say that Color coding actually takes a lot of time when you think of how many times you have to change color whilst taking notes. You could take notes in 1 solid easy on the eyes color like blue or black. And when you later review the notes, only then do you break out the highlighters. As for the color itself, you should pick the colors you want since it doesnt change much. Most people (here in France anyway) follow the same color coding since elementary : - red is important must know info - green is more information (such as the units in a formula) - blue/black or any color that hasnt been used yet for annotation or anecdotes (i personally use 1 color = 1 class, so that if I so happen to misplace the paper i know exactly what class its for)

I use purple for topic headings and summary tittle about the lecture, like an intro so when I'm skimming through I can see what it's going to talk about. (The plant cell) I use blue for subtopics (the Mitochondria and what it does) Green is for important formulas/graphs or names I need to remember (Formula for ... =...) Orange is for examples or extra information on bullet points (It is not found in all cells!) Pink is for Vocabulary (Mitochondria: the powerhouse of the cell)

I think whatever works for you? Last semester I color coded my notes with pens, but my professors mess up stuff on the board so often my notes were a mess!! So now I use pencil and then highlight things. I have different colored notebooks for each class, and then I have a matching folder in the same color for all of the loose papers. So like everything for my vibrations class is white, hydrodynamics is blue, research is black, etc. When actually taking notes, I just choose like five colors from my mildliners at the beginning of class. The darkest one I use for headings, and then I pick colors for other things. I'm a mechanical engineering grad student and the format is consistent among all of my lectures. We typically we get an explanation of what we'll be deriving and why, a base equation, some intermediary steps, and then the final equation. Sometimes there are little blurbs about each of our steps. So the "what we're deriving" is always a new heading and is one color, the base equation is one color, the important intermediary steps that aren't just doing the calculus but actually like inserting a new variable or something are another color, the final equation is one color, and then the little blurbs is the last one. The colors aren't really all that important themselves, remaining consistent with what each color is used for is!

Great video, I love seeing what others take to college/uni everyday. Inpires me to frequently clean out my backpack and restock important things. I also have a lot of cables because I'm studying IT and from personal experience i can recommend using a little pouch/fabric bag to put in all the cables and adapters, it makes it so much easier to find them! Have a good one! :^) Edit: Also careful with putting your wallet into the outter pouch of your backpack, I had a friend get hers stolen from the outter pocket without her noticing...

Most colleges look at your scores on the AP test to determine if they'll give you credit for the class! Depending on the school there's different standards -- some will take a 3, some might want a 4 or a 5, etc. And I think several top schools may not take the scores, but most colleges do!
