In my bag when I was playing in a Sunday League was simple. 1: I had at least 3 pairs of boots. I always have a back up for my back up haha. 2: compression undershirt 3: Nike J Guard shin guards in a small or xsmall cause who needs protection? Plus for $10 they are quite good for such a cheap price. 4: tape, tape, and more tape. 5: 2 pair of grip socks, I usually switched them at half time to have the fresh sock feel as opposed to starting with sweaty feet. 6: after the match I got to have at least 2 bananas, and a protein bar of sorts and plenty of water.

Very similar to what you have for me too. Lots of boots, lots of tape, lots of socks haha. I just have too much of everything. Over prepared always!

I know I'm old school (more than likely your oldest fan) but what happened to the gk taking a little bag on to the pitch with him, keepers don't seem to do this anymore, they used to keep it in their goals with them, some of gks I played with used to keep all kind of things in them from lucky coins, chewing gum, tape etc, looks as if the youngsters don't do this anymore, good video (honestly can't believe you don't change in a changing room or portacabin) good video

It's a good point, I remember keepers doing that and nobody really does anymore. I take a towel and a water bottle but I do remember that it used to be a bag with loads in it. Maybe because pros don't do it anymore because they have medical staff and kit men etc for everything, then the younger players are just emulating the pros. Also, not having changing rooms or having a changing room to get changed and then having to take your kit to the side of the pitch is super commonplace. Especially if you're playing away.

I know some pro keepers still have a small bag of accessories with them, but they tend to leave it in the dugout these days 🤷🏻‍♂️ As for change rooms, we do have them, but they are usually very small and in poor condition, and will often be quite a walk from the pitch, meaning you don’t really want to leave your bag (including your wallet, phone and keys) unattended. Some grounds will also have one set of change rooms serving multiple pitches so it’s a case of get in, get changed, get out.

The can is 1 thing u never want...im short and I like taking defendes head on wich usually leads to them grabbing me pulling my shirt and smelling nice would be like me saying please pull my shirt

I also wear nemeziz 19.4 because they are nice and padded and wear an extra pair of socks..being short I have small feet so if a defender stepped on me while I was in the xgosted I would be history
