Yessss I am a pouch lover too! No strays in my bags! It really does make it so much easier to find things quickly! I always seem to end up with like 20 lipsticks in my bag over time (as it seems you do, ha) but at least they're all contained in my little cosmetic bag! ;)

I have the Madewell Transport Tote in English Saddle. I love it so much. Its quite big for me since I'm short but it doesnt bother me at all (Coz everytime I go shopping, I dont ask for bags. I just toss them all in 😂) I put my stuff in pouches too! It just makes it neater ☺️

I am crazy picky about pens. The only two I use are the Sharpie pen and the Pentel RSVP fine points. Since you obviously have great taste in pens =), I'm going to try that Pilot one you had in your purse.

I always was on the fence between the regular madewell transport tote (zip or the original open-top) and the East West tote which seems to be slightly different. I have a Cuyana which is super similar to this shape of the Transport. Have you checked out the East West Tote? So so so gorgeous in black. I would have picked up this one you have in the zip in black but I was always so bummed that they had brown handles on their black transport totes. A comparison of all your Madewells would be great! :)
