Does scotchgard change the color of the tote? Some people say that scotchgard change the colors of the tote bags so I'm afraid of using it!

No, it didn't to mine at all. When you first spray it, it will look darker because it is still wet, but it dries completely the same, in my opinion. Hope that helps!
