I love it! I’m planning to purchase this sometime. I’m 5’5” in height, do you think it will suit me or should I buy a large?

The large is a massive jump up in size from the medium and is less of a rectangle bc a lot of the increase actually goes up in the height rather than the width, if that makes sense. They’re such different bags that if you’re worried about proportion, it would be worthwhile to go try them on in store. As far as capacity goes, the medium capacity is closer to a “small” bag capacity, so if you need more room, the large may be a good option

The large doesn’t look good crossbody. It’s really pretty as a shoulder bag pushed behind your arm. But that’s about it cause then it’s a huge square!

so envelope bag has two beige? like one beige and one dark beige? or is it same and some eshops just write beige?

From everything that I’ve seen, there’s only one beige monogram envelope, and YSL labels it as “dark beige” (there’s also “Blanc vintage” but that’s definitely white, not beige). I’ve mostly seen retailers like Saks and Neiman call it “dark beige” as well. Haven’t yet seen just “beige” but admittedly, I’m not scouring the internet for a bag I already have 😂 I’d say if you just see beige, they probably mean what YSL labels “dark beige” but I’d always reach out to the retailer to be sure!

Great video! I currently have the black ysl envelope bag with gold hardware but now I want a beige ysl and im debating between the YSL lou lou in dark beige or YSL envelope in dark beige. What do you recommend?!

I don’t have the Lou Lou, only the Envelope, so keep that in mind. But for diversity in your closet, I’d probably vote the Lou Lou since you already have the Envelope in black. If you’re looking for something structured, maybe take a look at the Cassandra top handle. I’ve always loved that style in store and it’s high on my list for when I get another YSL bag
