I try to avoid wearing certain bags in rain/snow. Carrying a folded up nylon tote inside your bag may provide protection for those days when you get caught in wet weather. Just plop your bag inside the tote! 😉

Great video! Agree re slightly larger pockets on the insert. I emailed 7-rp to see if they would consider a customisation for my second insert but they didn’t reply, so I took that as a no! Annoying they don’t consider customisation because cheaper brands of insert do. But I still love them anyway, it is head and shoulders above the rest. I would love a scarf video. I actually have the same horse paint by numbers scarf in cream. I love it!

Love your channel! Sorry this is off topic. I value your opinion and knowledge of LV bags. Any help is appreciated. Today I purchased a first Louis Vuitton bag an early gift 60th B- Day at LV boutique in San Diego California. I wanted either pochette Métis, or pochette assessorie in monogram. This boutique has neither and informed me they could not order either bag for me. Then team mgr brought out a Felicie, very nice w crossbody gold chain and includes two xtra pieces inside.. This wasn’t the bag I intended to buy, got caught up in excitement and scarcity of all popular bags and purchased plus I overlooked an important detail that mattered to me personally- the label did not read Made in France! Label reads Louis Vuitton Paris! My mother is European, spoke French and passed away recently so there’s sentimental reason for the “made in France” label. The cowhide leather credit card holder and small zip pouch included say made in USA. Please share your knowledge on various labeling and is it possible I can get one made in France? Thank you! 🥰 Which one do you recommend Pochette assesorie, or Felicie?

Aww happy birthday!! 🎊 It sounds like you really had your heart set on the Pochette Accessoires. The Felicie comes close to being a very similar item, so I can understand how you were tempted to pick it up. If it doesn’t explicitly state Made in France, it usually means it is a Made in USA piece. I’m so sorry to hear about your mom passing. I can understand that for sentimentality sake you’d prefer the Made in France. Honestly, it’s quite hard to find the Pochette Accessoires these days but if that’s what you truly want, you may want to hold out until you find one. Because the Felicie is similar, but just not the same. Or perhaps you can use the Felicie and see how it works out for you. Hope this helps! 💕

If you watch my original unboxing video, you’ll see what it’s like when the Birkin is completely closed. There’s a flap that needs to be aligned with the front hardware and then latched… it’s not an easy or fast maneuver. 😂
