when the time comes and you do get a new laptop most everything is moving to usb c but you can buy cords specifically for external drives that connect it to usbc so you dont have to use a dongle. theyre small and i lose them too lol. got one for my external drive so i could edit videos on my ipad wich is only usb c. works great

currently in high school and also from georgia, do you have any tips in terms of paying for RISD? i would love to go, but RISD is super expensive and at least i can get easy state scholarships to go somewhere like SCAD for a lot less. sorry if this is kind of a weird or personal question!
