I got a new Sony A7R body and I'm able to go to 50ISO WOW ... fantastic video man, been a while! Good to still see you doing your thing sir. I still have my Travolta handcanon(70-210mm Series 1) lol. All because of you sir.

You finally bought a mirrorless. That's awesome, buddy. Have you tried the adapter to use your older F mount lenses on the Z body?

Only used the 50mm 1.4 lens adapted so far, but definitely gonna get around to that soon.. The only problem that I have is that using the adapter sort of diminishes any difference in size. Hopefully Nikon will get their act together and make some small lenses to take advantage of the mount... At this point adapting Leica (and other rangefinder lenses) might be the best option... But if I allow for the same size as my previous setup, the Nikon Z lenses are getting really great reviews, quite pricey though... Just got back to Peru and settling in, but looking forward to playing around with the adapter this coming week!! Anything new your way?

I have a D810 and I love it. I'm now thinking to get the D850 in order to shoot 4K. But FF is definitely much better than crop, unless you only shoot birds.

Yeah, I might get the D850 next as well for a few benefits, but I'm in no hurry.. Will be waiting for the price to drop just a little more and especially if they replace it... The one thing that I see as a benefit for crop is that you can get a deeper depth of field at a given aperture setting which can be quite helpful for things like environmental portraiture, street photography, and landscape photography... However that's not really a big issue in most situations as you can often stop down one more stop on FF.. I do seem to like the files from my FF cameras better, but everything has a compromise, huh? Will shoot these cameras this year and decide what to do next year.... Hopefully a d850 replacement will push the price down on a d850 to around $1500 by next year!! Looking forward to that!
