I carry my 2 reed cases, metronome, tuner, reed geek, swab, small screw driver, pencils, glass plaque, small strip of 400 grade sandpaper, reading glasses for music. I loved your podcast with John Yeh. I also studied with Joe Allard- clarinet and saxophone, and unfortunately never studied bass clarinet with him.

What brand of cork grease are you holding up at 2:50?

I think it’s just Dadario cork grease. They are all pretty much the same

Yeah, I know they’re all basically the same. I’m looking for a cork grease container that will fit in my case. The cork grease space in the case of the clarinet I recently bought was not designed for the standard cork grease tube.

Thank you for this wonderful video! As for the Lomax Humidipro case, it seems like the layout of your interior is slightly different from the image on their website. Would love to know if you were able to customize it or not.

Good question! I’ve had mine for about 7 years now, so it’s probably an older version. I checked the website and it looks like they have updated the design a little bit. You can move the foam around a bit to fit your model of clarinet, but I wouldn’t say that it is completely modular. Hope you consider it, mine has been great!
