As a fellow long covid pal, I feel so seen by what you carry in your emergency bag!! I wanted to share that I've also found that ginger chews work wonders for my nausea - Im excited to try peppermint for my headaches! :)

They sadly don't work for me, I've tried them! But I feel like nausea is so personal in terms of remedies! But I know so many people have used and love the ginger chews!! I think it's because I don't like the taste of ginger lol!

I love what’s in my bag videos! My gotta have item besides the essentials is hand cream. L’occitane is my favorite and the only hand cream that helps with my eczema when it’s bad.

Oh my god as someone who also has migraines, digestion issues, and might now have long covid (😭) that emergency pouch is giving me helpful ideas.I am clumsy af so I always have a tide pen with me for spills. Also, I often have lactaid on myself.

For me pocket tissues and wet wipes have saved me many times, I also carry loop engage niose reducing earplugs, I can still hear everything without being over stimulated, I cant believe I use to walk around busy places without them 😅, especially comuting to work, it really helps me to get sucked into the book I'm reading. In regards to your migraines, I highly recommend researching into the benifits/types/ uses of magnesium, (check with your docter or pharmacist if safe to take alongside your medications), don't ask me how it works but there is a link between magnesium and migraines/headaches. I have been taking different types of magnesium daily for years for overall health and anxiety and I love the stuff lol.

Tide Go pen is an essential, not only for me but for my husband + toddler. I also always have Baggu's reusables with me. Trader Joes sunscreen, hand cream, face lotion. A hack for the face lotion, I have tried tons of the travel size from various brands but they just don't hold a candle to my go to which is ELF Holy Hydration. SO, I put a tiny bit in a jar from another product I finished and it's the perfect size for my Crescent. Also always have Ibu and a tampon with me!

One item I have to keep in my bag at all times is lactase tablets. I love pizza, hot chocolates, milkshakes, toasties etc but my stomach does not! TMI but I know as a fellow digestive issues girlie, you'll understand! PS Love the old-school video, I'm always so nosey when it comes to seeing what people keep in their bags so I'll never not watch these types of videos!

Feels like I'm a teenager in 2015 watching old school KZbin. Also, it sounds so strange to me hearing you need to travel 45 minutes to an hour to go run errands. I live in NJ which varies greatly in density but overall pretty dense and populated and even in suburbia you can get to a grocery store in 10-15 minutes maximum. Does Canada not have suburbs that have strip malls? I am very curious!

Not sure if you are a new subscriber or not, but we used to live in the suburbs up until last year and so everything was a 5-10 minute drive from us! But we moved in November to a small town about 45 minutes outside of the city! We have essentials in town like a grocery store & post office but if I need to run any other errands, I have to drive to the city! So yes, Canada has suburbia and stores 🤣 we just choose to live outside of the suburbs in a small town because cost-of-living is a lot lower out here! It was worth it for us to leave the suburbs (paid less for a single-family home out here than a condo in the city) and be a bit further out and have to commute into the city to run errands once a week!
