In the ketchup, they add sucralose to replace the sugar that they took out, which is an artificial sweetener. If you are interested in the healthiest products, things with artificial sweeteners aren't the way to go. You'd be better taking some tomatoes, putting them in the blender with some Monk Fruit sweetener and a little vinegar and salt.
@krisbuchan32583 жыл бұрын
Use tomato paste... Add vinegar and a pinch of clove and you don't really need any sweetener at all

By far the hardest thing for me is getting my family on board. I'm totally a convert I was keto for a couple years and now been carnivore for almost 2 months and I feel amazing and I am very convinced of this lifestyle but my wife absolutely is not. I have two boys that are 5 and 8 years old and it's a constant fight to try to get her to understand that they need to eat more protein and that most of the garbage carbohydrates and starches that they eat are not real food. What is your advice for trying to get your wife to understand? Also like most married men I am always wrong and she is always right.

If you consume a low enough amount of carbohydrates, your body’s fuel source switches from burning glucose for energy to burning fat for energy. That’s what being in a state of ketosis is. It’s also the preferred energy source..no brain fog and no crashing. If you are not eating the glucose, your liver will make it...there’s no need to consume it.

The Bell brothers' are awesome! I have two brothers and I feel like I understand Smelly's point of view fairly well. Great advice as always for the kids single serving packs and more protein. I laughed my ass off at the end cuz I live in Chicago and the things that hold me back sometimes are what I feel most Americans have a problem with......bullet holes and heroin jk, fast simple carbs ( fruit juices, pizza, white bread, potatoes, cookies, donuts, hell even baked bbq beans! Im on the Bizzy diet right now day 9 and I'd sell one of my gonads for a jar of Nutella on some white bread with a big glass of milk. So I guess what im missing is the extra sweet shit. Brownies come to mind. Btw I do like lower carb diets but not no carb or less than50 grams of carbs a day diets. IMO they just lead to cravings. Short term they work like a charm but it takes just as much if not more discipline to allow yourself a small "dose" of carbs a few times a day ( oatmeal and fruit at breakfast, white rice or sweet potatoes before workouts and honey afterwards). Anyways thats me and im grateful for the content and insight.

The whole Dutch Boys "Weezy" character is a problem. Sure that might have been his nickname from the get go but its been taken in the big business big name game. Most people are gonna think of lil wayne (aka weezy). He might be arrogant and conceded like "well thats my name". But regardless, he needs to make his own name (thats not taken) to differentiate his name, his brand, and his product.
