IF you do choose to eat alot of meat, just make sure to chew very good and get alot of fiber from veggies and or supplements like psyllium. You want to keep it flowing thru and never want it sitting in your colon for too long, especially red meat 😁

@Brian Mr NiceguyI agree. I think even without greens you'd be ok. They fail to acknowledge that cholesterol is a necessary component of cellular regeneration. And your body produces the cholesterol you use regardless of what you eat. Even a vegan can have high cholesterol.

Wrong choice in sausage. Try chapel hill and you'll see there are zero carbs in it along with the fact that it's really good tasting. I buy a package of the smaller chapel hill links and throw them on the smoker for around 90 minutes. Cool and put in a freezer bag. When ever I want a quick breakfast or lunch I throw one in the micro until hot and wrap it in a low carb tortilla. As a senior I don't buy the expensive cuts of meat even though they are often the best quality however I think expensive or cheap most of the end quality depends on the cook and his methods of preparation. Tonight I've got a six dollar package of beef breakfast ribs. I've trimmed them, sliced thinly, and put them in the fridge in a marinade. Later I'll grill them as fajita meat and they'll be tender and very tasty. And sometimes ease of prep is more important than taste. I buy those dreaded skinless, boneless chicken breasts. Why? The wife and I only eat the equivalent of one breast or less. I buy a package of breasts, put them in individual freezer bags and freeze. Then I can take one out, thaw in a bowl of water and cook easily for our dinner without all the waste. I normally make fajitas out of them but on occasion when I really want fried chicken I cut the breast up into one inch cubes, dust with corn starch(very little on dry chicken) and fry in hot oil until browned and done all the way through. Not greasy and tastes exactly like normal fried chicken without all the crust.

I think a lot of heart surgeons may have a different take on this diet, but if it gets people to lose weight, it can be effective and for some people the priority is just dropping the weight. However I would probably back off on the meat and cheese as I got to my goal weight and incorporate more fruits, veggies and fibrous carb sources.

Arguing that paying $4 for a box of cereal is more outrageous than spending $75 on 5 steaks maybe the worst base for an argument I have ever heard. There are perfectly healthy micro-nutrient rich cereals just FYI. Ignoring multiple food groups from a diet is unhealthy. This usually causes people to have to use a ridiculous assortment of supplements because their diet isn't diverse enough to cover a broad spectrum of essential micro-nutrients. Just because you can't moderator your food intake when it comes to carbs doesn't give you the right to influence others into eating your way. Do you have years of bloodwork to back up your health markers before and after switching to this diet. No? Then stop making ridiculous claims. The evidence backing Keto or Carnivore diets is circumstantial at best. I'm insulted with by your narrow viewpoint not by companies like Gatorade. I drink a full calorie soda once or twice a week and I'm still 10% body fat. Why? Because I only do it once or twice a week. People please do not listen to this fool because this kind of restrictiveness usually leads to eating disorders/body dysmorphia. Just be conscious of what choices you're making and exercise moderation.

So marc you're saying eating pounds and pounds of red meat every week is healthier than eating a bowl of cereal once a week? Yea right. Im not saying cereal is healthy, but you cant compare such things. Major BS. If ANYTHING the cereal will at least give you some fiber, whereas the meat will clog your artherties period

Comment By far the best diet is the *Agoge diet* because it works great and is easy to follow. Keto is simply risky and hard to adhere to.

My God, what a terrible video. There's no insight. He's just doing his groceries and telling you to pick what you want when you go. Not helpful for health and not helpful for budget.
