I've always wanted to do one of these! I wanna say my rifle is pretty old too lol, I know my marching band used it in 2009, but I'm sure they had them before that. I kinda just... took it home after my senior year because they got new rifles next year anyway LOL

Last fall around September I replaced the bolts on my rifles from the old metal bolts with the wooden bullet in. To the new plastic bolts. Oldest rifle from 1979, 1981 and 1982. Take care of your equipment will last a long time. My 4th rifle was a thrift store find in 2010 for $4.99. Not sure of manufacturer but it is very lightweight. Purchased 36 inch saber thrift store $2.99. Purchased three, five foot poles with silks on for $3.99 each. Just gives me something to spin. Need a longer saber 36 inch is just to short.

That’s incredible! I would also argue that they don’t make rifles like they used to. However, the king Kong rifle really seems to be a modern marvel. Lightweight and also insanely durable. Aside from that, I have used other cheaper brands and broken entire sets of brand new rifles within one season of performing indoor!

You can if you want to. It will keep your flag clean and protected if you are going from home to school or anything like that. If you buy one from Designs By King tell them we sent you, those are our favorite equipment bags!
