It's not an LOL just because you're in high school. I struggled in high school. If you can find anything that helps you feel better then do it I used to watch PBS cooking shows with Julia Child and all of those people and I still watch them today on KZbin with people like Kristen and Catherines plate I love them and I feel better. I am all alone in the world no family no close friends. I am waiting to buy a home of my own so that I will be in the neighborhood and make friends. :-) you're doing the right thing. Keep it up! :-)

It's such an act of love that you prepare such nice lunches for your partner. 💜 Those kiwis are BOMB!!! The really ripe ones taste like pear. Pineapple stops the apples from oxidizing because they are acidic, limes/lemons/oranges will do the same thing.

My husband is a truck driver also. I bought him a 12v crockpot years ago he loves it. It fits a whole can of progressive soup. He takes all kinds of stuff for that. I'm going to but this hot lunch bag! How did Josh like it? Did you send most of his food already hot and just keep it warm or did he use it to actually heat food up?

My dad has a very short list of veggies that he will eat. He/my mom used to pack him carrots every single day in his lunch. I remember the day ( after ~20 years of marriage to my mom) when he came in after work, and he said, “You know, I don’t think I can eat carrots any more. Please don’t put them in my lunch any more.” And that was that. My husband is the same way. Carrots are the only veggie he’ll eat raw. I’m just waiting for the day he tells me that he can’t eat carrots any longer. 😂

You just blew my mind with putting the mustard and mayo on the other side of the cheese instead of putting it on the bread so the bread doesn’t get soggy. I don’t even know how I haven’t thought of that 😂🙌🏻👏🏻🤯

I bought my husband the mini crockpot. Its more for desks to heat up food. He absolutely loves it! It makes packing lunches a lot easier now. My husband used the microwave to reheat his food and it was very slow and rarely ever clean. Great ideas!

This is a game changer for so many! My hubby used to drive semis and when he didnt have a fridge or microwave it was so expensive. Then we started upgrading the truck lol. Excellent ideas. I work from home due to COVID but I go in to print and mail some things once or twice a week. Our office kitchen is closed due to covid so I try and pack snacks for those days I have to run to the office to avoid fast food the way home. Loved these ideas.

I do the same thing as you’re doing for myself for work. I will say I don’t put any condiments like mayonnaise or mustard on my sandwich is because they tend to get soggy instead I collect convenient store packages of those same condiments and toss them in to be added when ready to eat

Just a little tip - if you reheat cream sauce leftovers on the stovetop on low/medium heat they will not separate. They only separate when microwaved. Obviously your husband couldn’t do that on the road but you could at home.
