Those are great baskets and I love the umbrellas! I did that when my oldest was young. I wanted hers to sit up straight so I found a short, sturdy bowl and put the umbrella in that. It held the umbrella straight and you couldn't even see the bowl underneath.

I love using something that can be used for a basket rather than a basket. Umbrellas are a great idea! I remember when I was little my Easter basket was ridiculously huge filled with candy! It was like Christmas lol. I would get one from my parents, 2 aunts, and grandparents.. I had way to much lol. Also you’re so funny and honest, I LOVE that 😂 "It’ll just get thrown away" SO TRUE! No one ever talks about how most of these Easter basket things get ruined the first day and get thrown away... buts it’s true lol. It’s still always fun to get the little eater type things though! My 2 year old is ABSOLUTELY OBSESSED with toy story!!! If he sees anything toy story in stores he has to have it lol. He has both buzz and woody pjs and always wants to wear them I have to wash them everyday 😂 Books are always my favorite thing to put in eater baskets, it’s the one thing that makes it through the first day! (I got my oldest daughter the level 1 books and I couldn’t read half the words) 😂

Growing up my mom would buy the Easter baskets already made but she would always get each of us a special toy I have two other siblings! But she would also buy a lot of candy and make Easter eggs and hide them in the yard! Tfs 🐰🐣🥚

I love all the books! and now at the end of the video. Judy Bloom and Miss Parent got me to love reading in the 80s. I was in 4th grade. I was 10. Miss Parent read to use every day and on Friday we got to sit on the carpet and she read, "Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing". I started to read Ms. Blume's books on my own. At 50, I still love to read. WAY TO GO, Mom!

Good morning my funny friend!! I don't have little ones anymore, so sad!! When they were young though, I always went way overboard!! It was kinda traditional for me because my grama did that for me when I was young. I am definitely a Reese girl!! The white peanut butter eggs are life!!! OMG I saw my favorite you tuber in the wild. I saw our Kim where you ask. Wait for it ..... at Costco. I spotted her and wasn't sure at first but she was rocking her blue purse. She is sooo beautiful. We all know she can talk, but in my excitement I don't think I let her say anything lol. I think i've might have squealed. She gave me a hug and everything. She is so sweet. I think I told her that I watch her all the time and she makes me so happy. I swear I was getting teary eyed. I didn't want her to think I was a crazy person so I just said some stuff and walked away. I don't even know if I said bye. So Kim if you see this it was so nice to meet you and I swear I'm not a pyscho I was just so excited to see you. Next time if I see you i'll control myself. I told my kids as soon as I got home. My son asked me if I took a picture. uh no look at me I look like a hot mess lol. Awe and she is really petite.

Fun baskets! My kiddo's much older (16) so we normally just do a big chocolate bunny, but she's also on a health kick, so I wanted to come up with something not-candy. She's pretty artistic, so I ended up getting a pair of white canvas shoes and a set of fabric paints.

Love the idea of using umbrellas and everything you have included. My kids are adults and I do have a granddaughter, they still get Easter baskets. With reference to all the pieces you included, will keep them busy over the Easter Holiday and you have included books. Here in England they are off school for 2wks, I don't know if it is the same for you. If you are stuck for your eldest and she is creative, why not get her a craft project. They are all over our shops at present, sewing, paint a birdhouse or moneybox, something like that. TFS. xxx

Your Cadbury creme eggs have the original foil packaging and old school colors from back in the day?!!! So cool!! Maybe it's just in Canada, but they've swtiched to this hard-ish plastic cover, and I haven't seen the original primary colored ones in years! I'll check my stores, maybe they're going with a retro theme this year. :)

Love that you got books and activities instead if just crap... Ourselves usually ends up with a bit too much crap. 😂 I try to steer away. I got some jumpy bunnies and fairy garden stuff. I have a bunch of " crap" that I got in clearance last Easter for like 10¢ each... Actually some was 5¢ no joke. Crazy... There is a paddle ball thing. Some eggs that I think hatch dinosaurs. Erasers and other crap we don't need. 😉 We always try to do things like gardening stuff for fairy gardens since it's outside things. The girls have fairy gardens they add to every year. we actually have seeds of fairy garden stuff that never even made it outside last year. 🙄

Hey its your girl from NY 😊 Great ideas for easter. I love reeses myself mmmmm. I have 3 sons. One left at home he is 12 almost 13 and the other 2 are all grown up. Then i have 2 grand kids. So i do 3 baskets the older 2 dont want them lol. Im going shopping next wed for my easter im excited cant wait. Its so much fun.
