Life with POTS / EDS (or any chronic condition) can be extremely unpredictable. That’s why it is essential to carry a medical bag with you while in public to ensure you have all the necessary medical supplies/ medications. This makes sure you are taking care of yourself and limits barriers to care.
About Me:
Hi, I'm Lexi. My goal is to share insight into life with a chronic illness/disability. I hope to inspire others to pursue their dreams and passions despite their limitations or circumstances while creating a community to show others they are not alone! I enjoy vlogging, public speaking, & raising awareness for chronic illness/disability.

My daughter keeps some alcohol wipes in her bag. Smelling the alcohol pad seems to help with nausea. She also keeps a couple of plastic bags and wipes in case of a vomiting episode.

Alcohol wipes are great! I keep them next to my bed as I get nausea as night. I'm happy your daughter found a helpful trick ❤️ chronic illness can be unpredictable, having a medical bag can be key in increasing the ability to care for ourselves. Sending hugs! ❤️❤️ You are not alone!

As somebody who is just getting diagnosed with hyperadrenergic pots and EDS in their late 20s, I really appreciate this video because to me it feels like we are normalizing disabilities, and that anybody can get them and we just have to find our own ways of living. Just thank you for talking about it. For the first time in a while, I feel very seen!

Absolutely! Disability is a part of the human experience. I'm really happy that this video was helpful for you! If there are any specific videos you'd like, let me know and ill be happy to add them to the list. I'm currently working on a video about disability + chronic illness representation in books/ stories where the main character is disabled. I hope you like it :)

I have a low blood cell count and I'm very anemic, I use raw sugar packets in my bag and I eat them when I am dizzy! My store sells a pack of 25 for 90 cents, it is by the "sugar in the raw" company.
