Yup pretty good besides being one big commercial. Not really a legit vid of your thoughts. Like the bagpack tho. But for safety reasons I don't think that knowledge, (all pockets and so on, where they are.) Should be talked about. Or if you can. Then show a awesome security bagpack.

Well I have about a half dozen satchel style bags, but my one backpack is the LLBean Continental Rucksack in waterproofed cotton. It has a huge main pocket and good sized side and front pockets. I can literally pack it for an entire weekend, clothes and everything. For daily carry, I have a NutSac satchel, which is good for my Kindle, tablets, and cables.

Hard to say for sure but that blue screen cloth looks like a microfibre glass cloth, the type I use for doing the car windows etc. I got mine from The Rag Company but I'm sure they're sold under a lot of different brands. They're very short nap compared to most microfibre clothes but a little longer than the traditional screen cloth.

I carry my work laptop, iPad, an Anker 10000 battery pack, 2 notebooks (1 for work & 1 personal), a bunch of pens, headphones, glucose tester, meds, and various other paperwork and personal effects on a daily basis in a Swiss gear backpack. Thanks for sharing this one, I may consider it when I need a new one.

It sound like a solid two strap backpack. Personally for me, I wish it'd have (not conventional) a USB pass though. Just to charge my phone in my hand and charge bank in backpack while I walk around. But then again, with water resistance and durable material used, its pretty good at 110 USD. Looks good too.

I don't have much to carry so I just carry around my shoulder bag for my umbrella, notebook and a small power bank for those days that I just have too many phone and video calls. But I am thinking about going back to school so this actually looks like a great backpack for my laptop and books. Maybe could even get this for work since they give me a pretty heavy gaming laptop to edit while on the field.

That PowerBank is a beast. I have the Power Core 20100mAh myself. Nice and slimline, never failed me. Only had to charge it about a dozen times from flat. My backpack is a bag made by Reyleo, not a massive name, but it's a brilliant backpack, lots of space, can charge on the go with fitted USB port as well, although I don't use it myself.

I have the 20L version of this bag for univeristy and it is such a high quality bag! It is the most durable bag I have ever owned. I had used their Big Kånken for high school, but this is a significant upgrade from the Kånken. Don't get me wrong, I still love the Kånken for what it is. But this is my go-to bag for whenever I have to carry more than just my phone, wallet, etc. around. I love the different compartments. Everything has a place and, unlike my Kånken, things aren't just sitting in one big compartment. I'm tempted to get the 28L for when I travel, since it can hold more than my 20L. I cannot recommend Fjällräven enough!

@audrey.s.
@audrey.s. 5 жыл бұрын
@@Padfoot333 The 20L works really well for university. Since I don't have to carry around too much for my courses, the 20L is a good size. Plus I'm only 5'1", and the bag doesn't look too big while wearing it. I believe that the 28L would be better for high school or for traveling. I don't feel like I would need the 28L for university.

As far as Fjällräven in general goes... You can't get much tougher than it outside of military gear. Fjällräven is a Swedish hiking and outdoors maker. They are among top Nordic hiking clothing and equipment makers. Long treck in arctic wilderness level ruggedness. The might be unknown world wide, but in Northern Europe they are iconic. Among same cast as say Helly Hansen, Haglöfs, Trangia etc. Don't know about the specific pack, but in general Fjällräven doesn't make cheap stuff. They make serious expedition quality rucksacks, tents etc. Their cheapest backpacks cost 50+ $. That is for the simplest "I could get this kind of school pack of couple bucks from cheap store" model Känken. Difference their stuff is near indestructible. made from heavy canvas originally used for tent fabric. I have seen Fjällräven packs decades and decades old still being used and not showing failures outside of surface scratches. Double stitch everything. "You will have to cut this with knife to break it" canvas, oversized zippers, straps connected with reinforcing layers of canvas and large connecting pads with large stitching. Their stuff isn't cheap or exactly light weight either, but in exchange it is near indestructible. I have had a FjällRäven Bergen 30 as daily driver for a decade. It hasn't even lost it's watertight seals over that time (it is a fully sealing roll top model with completely watertight inner dry bag, because rain and laptop do not mix). Not to even talk about general construction failure. Not out of magic. The watertight bag and it's sealed seams are just done out of so thick fabric and multiple thick layers of seam sealing tape, that it takes lot to break it. The outer pack is out of heavy duty canvas. Which means it isn't the lightest backpack in the world, but it doesn't break easily.
@hannomatt
@hannomatt 5 жыл бұрын
What I like about Fjäll Räven is the sturdy fabric that their stuff is made of. You should also check out the Kanken backpack which is a smaller and more basic model but comes in very handy as a light carry on. :)

Fjallraven's entire deal is to make gear that'll outlast you. In centuries, they'll find frozen corpses from our time and be able to resell the gear as new ^^ (I'm only lightly joking, but yeah the gear is amazingly tough. They make you pay for it tho, hard, but it's worth it :) )

A few charging cables (Apple Watch + iPhone + USB) 7. My iPhone. 8. Passport. 9. Wallet. And it's too damn heavy. You have way more stuff than this. If what I carry on a day to day basis is about 5 KG on a Herschel backpack, I wonder how heavy is yours.

Did you use the Samsung micro fiber cloth to clean an iPhone? The shade you just threw at Samsung.

I also like this backpack. All the little pockets I am looking for at a backpack. But: What do you think about the back? I think it is a little bit too stiff. The guy at the Fjällräven store said it would break in. What do you think, does it get softer after a while?

The backpack looks nice and definitely one that can carry tech gear along with personal items. But wow, $110 for a backpack. Thats half a months's pay for me. I'll just stick with my regular backpack. I put my laptop and switch in padded cases so they're both good. Although, I always put my backpack in front since pick pocketers are notorious where I come from.

in the long run, it'll outlast any other cheaper similar bags. I'd venture it'd outlast 2, 3, even 4 of them, and would save you cash in the end.
