What size was this laptop?

For the size of the room and the 8ft viewing distance, an 85" TV is too big. What were you thinking? It's too big and too overwhelming! A 75" would have been large enough for the room.

I know this is an old post but was enjoyable to see someone who gets the duo. I was a original duo users and unfortunately I dropped it and broke it. I then spent the last few years trying different devices. Got a razor 2022 and although this phone is good as a bar phone the screen went on it but I missed multitasking. I then got a fold 4 and did not get on with it. Got a crack in the fold again but I never liked the aspect ratio. Lastly got a pixel fold and although the aspect ratio was far better than the fold. I just missed the multitasking and laptop type phone. I had a look on ebay and found a duo 2 for £350 last month and loved every minute of it. The duo 2 fixes alot of the issues of the 1st had and for me I use my phone alot to be productive again which I could not do with the others. Its ashame Microsoft have canned this project and I do feel the reviews of the devices focued on more negative aspects of the devices rather than the positives as this gets more hits.

I went to CEX (a buy and sell tech franchise in the UK) and sold it for what i thought was a good price at the time. Seeing them now selling for like £400 now, actually makes me sick and I wish I could own one again

I live in a small apartment as well - although I have a 65in tv. Its to small for me, but also good for the space. I want a 85 or 86in, eventually thanks for the feedback!

What happened to you?

I find it funny that they designed them to be metal and glass and so everyone put them in a case. I miss when they were all plastic and so no one had a case, just a screen protector and even then if you dropped the phone you could get a replacement screen for $50. Now it'll cost you hundreds and you will have to take it to the manufacturer cause it's impossible to repair.

Projectors are where it is at and I'm surprised people don't go on about them more.

This was my last Galaxy phone, I hated the move to the all glass and metal that the industry went down. Though I did go with the iPhone X after this as it was such a revolution and I had to jump on board lol. Using a Pixel 5 now though, had it for over four years and it's my favourite phone ever.

One thing I wished my parents did was pushed me down a direction, they were very much like "you choose"... But I felt directionless and lost and never ended up doing anything.

I still have this phone i held on to it and used it until they shut down for good. 😢 i still have the phone for nostalgic reason. I thought maybe just maybe i could get some software app installed with another operating system in it kinda like i had done to note 7 when it had those issues samsung shut the phones down with software update sent to phones ,was able to download a software and use that note 7 agian

It's weird that now a 85 inch has become more normalized. Now a 100 inch plus is a big screen. 85 is still Extra large but it's more common now. But now a 65 inch is concidered a normal living room tv and even on the smaller side. I dont remember 65 inch tvs looking as small as they do to me now. You get used to a 100 inch tv and even it doesn't blow you away anymore. I have a 100 inch hisense u76n. Still wish I could afford a 115 inch lol 😆 but my 100 inch was only 1799 dollars which is insane for a tv with that picture quality and size. Its 144hz,qled and 256 local dimming zones with 800 rated brightness that easily punches above 1k nits. You can get a u8n or a qm8 85 inch now for under 1800 dollars and they have oled like picture quality.
